Patchouli done different.
Not a luxurious cakey approach like Jovoys Psychedelique;
Or a vintage approach like Reminiscence;
Or a spicy approach like Ajmal Luxury's Patchouli;
Or soapy modern approach like Parfum De Nicolai Patchouli Intense;
Or a Cowboy like approach like Terenzi's Ursa.
This is just brutal and wild in what it wants it represent.

It is extremely long lasting. Projects well. I think if you're not biased to Patchouli, this might not work for you. For most like myself who would easily jump on a patchouli wave, this is something interesting. Difficult to sample as it is near impossible to find it anywhere. I found a bottle in another continent and went for it.

However, if you really like Patchouli and you don't mind a fierce experience - then this could be for you. It would leave you slightly amused. Might be too much on the first go, but with a brave heart you can go at it again.

Very Interesting Creation.

Well blended I must say. Smells very different as well. The product description does it justice, you won't be out of place feeling like you're walking through an opulent space. That feel of walking through a newly Italian marble tiled space.

The notes are quite muted. Nothing jumps or claws at you while it's on you. Just whiffs here and there.

The performance is a bit on and off for me though. First time it was everywhere, and the next time I couldn't tell if I even used it at all. Maybe it's my nose.
I suppose the notes may have been done that way to be present and not offend. I like to physically feel my perfume beside me. So that's where I'm coming from.
It lasts on clothes 2 days easy. Kept wondering what was smelling, then saw the shirt I wore in the corner.

It smells very potent from the bottle, however I'm not so sure how much of a scent trail it actually leaves.
Sure there's a chance it immerses you in its bubble and that's why it is difficult for me.

I have experienced Kosmala on others, so i'm pretty sure this works.
One thing tho, it smells real good.

Think Xerjoff More than Words but a bit more grown up with a bowtie.
It's dry, more mature. Could be unisex, but feels more masculine.
While More Than Words is heavy on the fruits all through, this is fairly more balanced with the Oud in it.

Burst of fruits on the initial spray, then calmly drifts into the oud. You'd really not notice the till you pay attention to it. Now you can smell the oud and the fruit side by side. Great stuff!

I'm not sure how it would do in warm climates, but it would certainly perform beastly in the cooler climes.

Yeah! I like it, I really do. Was a bit upset that I may have purchased MTW blindly. But as I typed this review, and as it changed with the 2 sprays, color me impressed.

You might not need more than 2 or 3 sprays with this. I'm an oversprayer, so I'll definitely try upwards of 7 sprays on this.

I'd say it is well made, my first bottle from SHL. I'll look into the house more.

Épices Exquises is a very spicy, woody scent. The spice is evident in the initial, and the dry down. The first spray I didn't care for much, but it quickly stripped away to reveal another layer. Now this layer is quite homely or warm, almost like how you'd expect to smell hurdled up by a fireplace in winter.

The layers to the peppers can be felt. Not so bad that you'd sneeze, but it does tingle at your nose a bit.

It is not a unique scent, which takes nothing away from it. I think it quickly reminds me of Boadicea the Victorious' Green Sapphire (without the firepower)
Dries down the same way too.

I think this is best as an evening scent, seemed to project more in the evening. However, in my day time weather of 34°c, I just get whiffs or it at random, despite spraying a generous amount on clothes and skin.

You can feel the perfume swirl around you for about 2hrs, and then it just drops to a personal thing/skin scent.

It's definitely not on the power level of other offerings in the Les absolus d'orient line, but I like how cozy it makes me feel.
