Wow, wow, wow...
I have always felt drawn to the Orient, fascinated by the many thousands of spices, and searched for a suitable fragrance to satisfy my longing. I dreamed a lot about foreign lands and cultures, about enchanting scents that lingered in the air at the markets... until I found MY fragrance. An incredibly precious, powerful scent that is said to symbolically represent hospitality and abundance in the Near East. A dark, romantic, erotic blend of dates, cinnamon, plum, jasmine, and patchouli is pleasantly perceptible and gently envelops without being intrusive or causing headaches. This delicacy can only stem from the high price. When I embark on this olfactory journey, I awaken in a beautiful desert of the finest sand, which feels wonderfully soft and warm under my bare feet. I feel the hot sun on my skin and smell the alluring scents from the gilded temples in the air, which create a desire for more and invite to grand festivities. Males and females are ready to come closer and do not shy away from crossing any boundaries.

My mother was a big fan of this wonderful fragrance in the 90s. As a child, I absorbed her scent and felt protected and cherished. An incredibly exotic yet highly intense captivating olfactory experience that is not really tangible. Sweet peach, innocent mango, soft lovely vanilla, and a light coconut note introduce themselves at the very beginning and give the uplifting musk and amber room to present themselves. I suspect that the sandalwood adds a nostalgic touch to the fragrance and beams the wearer back to the past 90s.
When my mother's bottle eventually disappeared from the little cabinet, I carried the memories of the beauty of the glass flacon, which resembles the dome of an oriental temple with its royal golden liquid, within me until I eventually bought it for myself, and every time I wear it, I indulge in memories and crave apricot cake.
Definitely something for the sensual woman in whom a thousand longings slumber.

Montale always captures my attention with its extraordinary scent compositions, as I am more of a fan of niche fragrances and tend to steer away from the ordinary mainstream. Do you want to smell like everyone else? The answer is certainly self-evident. When I first inhaled the fragrance, I felt sexy and propelled straight into the nightlife. The notes of sweet coffee and not too overpowering rose are immediately noticeable after the first spray and complement each other well. Gradually, the white musk joins in and pairs with warm vanilla. As I focus on my nose and imagination, scenes from a sultry shisha bar in the heart of a big city come to mind, harmonizing with the evening. The night is still young. People from another culture are among themselves, stylishly dressed, greeting each other cheerfully, and eager to showcase their long dresses and chic suits in an elegant nightclub. In the small dark corners of the bar, there are also a few lovers who gaze into each other's eyes for hours, sip their drinks, and have prepared themselves for an exciting date.
The amber resonates throughout the evening and does not fade away. Yet some mysterious essence tries to push its way to the surface. It has a slightly synthetic quality, somewhat sharp and not exactly quiet. I enjoy it when a fragrance cannot be immediately dissected and defined. This keeps it mysterious and unique.

After being enchanted for a long time by rather rounded, sweet, seductive fragrance essences, I wanted to venture into something new, dark, mysterious, and edgy... My "culprit" for this transformation in the world of scents was also mystical acquaintances from distant lands who revealed to me the access to the supernatural. The smell of incense from frankincense and sage, thick old books that conceal so many secrets, leather, and herbs burned itself into my subconscious. I had to find a fragrance that did justice to my imagination and brought this very special feeling of past impressions to life again and again.
Once my third eye was opened, I felt an inner urge every day to engage more with the 2000-year-old gold of nature; the fragrance "Oud," which is derived from the resin of the agarwood tree, regularly opened the gate to the East in my dreams. However, the initial period of searching was marked by disappointments. I repeatedly visited old, quaint perfumeries that seemed to be drowning in their thousand bottles. Yet no one could ignite my fire. Time and again, I sniffed at an essence reminiscent of chemistry class. An oud that pierced through my brain like lightning and left a note of sweat behind-"Could this all be?!" I asked myself.
After conducting my own research, I finally found what I was looking for and soon held the golden treasure of Arabia in my hands. I can't describe how excited I was when I caught the first spray; it was an explosion!!! At first, one is overwhelmed by a heavy, slightly synthetic, sharp oud reminiscent of an old library, but it quickly settles into a velvety softness, releasing the full beauty of praline and vanilla. The fine nose then detects the noble yellow saffron that resonates in the background but does not go unnoticed. The longevity is incredible, and if you don't overdo it with the spraying, you will be enveloped and kissed all day long by a noble, lovely, sweet, oriental fragrance that reminds you of an exciting city trip to the distant, pulsating Dubai. Exceptionally dreamy and unbeatable for the price!

By chance, this rather unknown Italian caught my attention. As a multifaceted perfume lover, I was in search of deeper, wicked, almost mystical scents that are out of this world. It was already a positive sign that the brand produces on a natural basis and knows how to market this fragrance very interestingly. When the little gem arrived at my place, I was not disappointed despite the blind buy. The first spray catapulted me straight to the Orient thanks to the noble yet not too heavy patchouli; perfumed, kissed and groomed camel drivers, barefoot, routinely setting off through the hot desert sand under the orange evening sun... The cinnamon, moss, and slightly balsamic woody notes play their game right on the surface and gently envelop the wearer without being too intrusive. The scent is definitely unisex and also reminds one of exuberant Arab festivities.
