To be honest, I have now tested nearly every known OW clone, and this one comes closest to the original scent because it is less oriental than the Dua clone and not as creamy-spicy as the carved oud. Those who want TF OW can undoubtedly rely on the Oriental Woods. The H/S is also better for me.

Wow! We have to be honest - we are 90 percent fooled by the perfume influencers who want to sell us their expensive fragrances. I thought the same about Marc Gebauer, so I never tested any of his scents until a user offered 5ml for a very fair 8 euros. The perfume arrives, I spray it with great anticipation on the envelope and initially feel confirmed; it smells a bit like my Zara Orange Zest with an oriental-oily touch; but then I tried it again on my sweater and am now totally surprised, as the scent offers much more than the banal citrus notes at the beginning. The floral notes carry this fragrance and let the citrus perform. I have the feeling that this scent will be worn very often this summer and will experience many beautiful moments with me. It will be lovely.

Before I bought this fragrance, I checked on Parfumo to see if it had already been reviewed, and lo and behold - not a single comment. The only one I could find enough ratings and comments for was #Midsummer Orange Zest. I find this fragrance surprisingly good; because: you get what you read - a nicely citrusy mandarin note that is rounded off by ginger. After spraying, you smell like a citrus cocktail. This may not appeal to everyone, but in the height of summer, I can very well imagine wearing it.
I also don’t understand the reviews regarding longevity and sillage. Due to the poor reviews, I sprayed a bit more than I usually do and regretted it miserably. For such an inexpensive and summery fragrance, the longevity and sillage are really quite good. So: a clear recommendation!

Today I happened to look for whether Caline - after I was particularly excited about the le Male dupe - has new dupes that I can test; and lo and behold: another BR dupe. I already have a BR dupe from an Arab brand, but this dupe was significantly more expensive, allowing me to compare the two. I immediately ran to DM and found it :)
At first glance, the BR DNA is immediately noticeable in Belle Icone. Some fragrances are now truly able to copy the DNA almost 100 percent. This scent comes close, although the strawberry note is a bit stronger than in the original and in my Arab dupe, making the fragrance actually appear a bit more feminine. (This is how it is marketed.) However, the longevity and sillage are neither as strong as the original nor as the slightly weaker Arab fragrances. Still, I am again shocked that Caline manages to offer such an expensive scent at such a low price. WOW!

This scent is ancient, yet it actually fits into the modern era, as citrus fragrances are gradually becoming more popular. Tommy Girl hits this mark perfectly; this woman is young, fresh, and open; she wants to be noticed and approached. Otherwise, the fragrance notes hardly harmonize, as lemon and rose dominate.
