At first, my nose was still numbed by the chemical lime, so I didn't notice the honey-sweetness that dominates the heart here. Then it came, and with it, my desire to buy was gone forever.
A little later, my arm also smelled like a full ashtray. Must be the leather. Sorry Gaga, I love you, but this was a miss.

I know this scent from somewhere. It's probably because it is completely generic and smells just like every second sport fragrance on the market. Well. I had some time at the train station today and Puma Jam was available for purchase at the station drugstore. It smells better than a low-price deodorant and worse than a Boss. The price is great. (9 euros for 40 ml.) But what on earth is "salty surf"?

Conclusion: Unremarkable.

Dear perfumistas,

I realize that when a man reviews women's fragrances, he is naturally, firstly, biased (no question about it!) but secondly also clueless and inexperienced, as he hardly knows this sector. Therefore, I ask you to overlook any potential misunderstanding regarding First and to show mercy.

I am a huge fan of Jean-Claude Ellena and use a lot of Terre D'Hermes and Declaration, two fragrances that have only been around for a few years.

In my opinion, Ellena is characterized in the men's segment by angular and spicy compositions that adapt well to the wearer. Shallow and pretentious scents usually do not come from him.

Thus, I was all the more surprised when I was recently able to smell First from his "early works." This fragrance is sweet and floral and aldehydic, and in my perception, it is not at all Ellena...

It does not smell noble and classic, but rather average to cheap. The tissue soaked with First had to be removed from the trash can after a few minutes because it spread throughout the room. Way too loud and intrusive.

I couldn't detect any spiciness like clove or woodiness at all... Well, maybe it should have been tested on the skin for this.

It is not to my taste at all, although I sometimes like opulent fragrances on women.

Conclusion: Ladies, better keep your hands off First.

I actually like the opening of lavender and lemon, but I doubt whether these essences have ever inhaled sunlight.

After a few minutes, a scent note joins in that personally makes me suspect bitter or blood orange; even at this stage of the fragrance development, the lavender saturates the citrus, and it may be that the first hints of patchouli are already present.

I don't find the scent woody; rather, it is soft and cozy. No trace of Sin-City rawness, as the ad tries in vain to suggest.

Conclusion: More suitable for students and pupils than for Russian oligarchs.

tested yesterday. one of the purest patchouli scents I have ever smelled... There are hardly any other fragrance notes present. For patchouli lovers, this scent is therefore a must. Especially because it completely avoids any gender-specific embellishments, it can be wonderfully worn by both men and women alike.

All in all, a very elegantly appearing collection that Boss has launched here. The bottles are made of real crystal glass. Each of the fragrances is truly worth a test. Cashmere Patchouli particularly stood out in my opinion.
