I am still in the Parfumo primary school, excuse me - elementary school. Despite my lack of knowledge, I am excited about the Boadicea fragrances.
Today I tested "Celestial," the heavenly fig scent, which really doesn't fit my usual preferences. But it just had to be done...
At the start of "Celestial," sage, lemon, thyme, jasmine, and lavender are clearly noticeable. Unfortunately, I don't know what pear wood and juniper smell like. Slowly, a lovely, wrinkled, but not sweet fig starts to emerge, still accompanied by a splash of lemon and lavender. The cedar provides a beautiful base for everything, especially the fig.

Compared to "Philosykos" by Diptyque, this fig here is more interesting, more complex, and longer lasting. A beautiful scent that is worth testing...

I welcome corrections; I will then come back to make improvements...

I do have quite a selection of fragrances and samples (also from dear Parfumo members), but since Saturday I have only been wearing this one P sample. And it has completely captivated me, I was/am under its spell, I couldn't think of any other fragrance, let alone seriously test another one. Since my sample is running low today, despite all my concerns (tax bill, price, etc.), I had to make it mine. And I am just happy about it, it is definitely a candidate for my island!

Passionate is part of the five-piece Agarwood Collection by Boadicea the Victorious, meaning it contains Oud. P starts off slightly fruity, initially sweet, a bit heavy, with a magical, sun-drenched, warming honey note. It is a lightly spicy, not cloyingly sweet honey with a slightly fresh, herbal note (dragon's blood resin?). A few drops of vanilla, light patchouli, precious jasmine, and sandalwood wonderfully support the flawless connection between Oud and honey. And this dream lasts easily 12 hours, it is still there the next morning. I could also imagine this scent on a man.

Currently, it is about 14° cold here (in July), I am sitting around in an orange cashmere sweater and despite the cold, I am completely happy with the warming P. But I could also imagine moving to a South Sea island with it alone... I could still get an orange bikini and feel as beautiful as Halle Berry...

Dragon's blood resin is said to boost self-confidence, which I need right now to send this beginner comment. For P, I would do anything, I want it to seduce you, warm you, and make you blissful. Oh, I am so in love!
