Creamy Search
I was on the lookout for a creamy summer fragrance. So I picked out a few scents and made my way to the perfume store.
The saleswoman selected my fragrances and added a few more. With the professionalism with which I was advised, we started with my selection.
Out of six fragrances, only one truly captivated me, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for....
Then we came to "A'mmare | Carthusia." She sprayed the fragrance on a test strip and handed it to me.
My first reaction was, "Uff, I only smell mint, is there anything else in there? Ah, yes, in the background I smell mandarin. But the mint is overpowering everything."
That wasn't really the direction I was looking for, so she recommended applying the fragrance to my skin.
Well, now I’m wearing the fragrance on my skin and I’m fascinated by its development.
Here’s the description of the scent progression:
In the opening, the mint is so dominant that everything else is hardly perceptible.
On my skin, the mint develops into something very synthetic and smells like old chewing gum. I thought to myself, what have you gotten yourself into...
However, the fragrance gradually begins to evolve, the mint fades away, and I start to perceive a creamier note more and more. Interestingly, the fragrance develops in a creamy direction and is still accompanied by the mandarin in the background.
I would have never expected such a development.
This fragrance is definitely worth trying.

The Shaving Foam Scent
This fragrance is a "dad scent"; it reminds me of my dad's shaving foam.
The aquatic note is very refreshing, but the lavender accompaniment is overwhelming for me. And in the dry down, I can only smell a bit of mint and the lavender note.
The longevity is a good 6 hours on me. The sillage is super pleasant; you can perceive the scent yourself, but it doesn't disturb those around you.
I would not recommend this fragrance as a blind buy.

Doesn't need to hide
Upon the first spray, a synthetic citrus note greets you, which is slightly piercing.
This develops over time as the ginger makes its presence known, and in the drydown, the tea note joins in.
For me, the fragrance is very pleasant to wear despite the piercing opening.
The longevity is good, but I would wish for more sillage.
In conclusion, you get a solid fragrance for your money.

Green green green and soap
The violet DNA is overwhelming. As mentioned in the title, this fragrance is very green and is supported in the background by a soapy note. The scent is straightforward; if you are looking for a simple green fragrance with good sillage, you are in the right place.
For me, the green is too intrusive and unfortunately not for me. However, for someone looking for a green scent, this one is ideal; it does its job. The question would be whether one is willing to pay such a price for it....

What a pity...
The scent DNA is very beautifully fruity. In the drydown, I was able to pick up a mix of fruity pineapple and something creamy on my skin.
It conveyed a feeling of elegance and class.
Unfortunately, this feeling did not last long...
To be precise, a maximum of 5 hours, with it already continuously diminishing after an hour.
Considering the price-performance ratio, it's all quite miserable.
So much potential being wasted...
