The Name Says It All
I was looking for a cherry scent. Lost Cherry was my first stop.
It was a nice fragrance, but somehow it didn’t blow me away. It reminded me too much of Amaretto and Christmas - not really my thing.
Then a friend sent me a sample of Cherry Punk and I was like - yass! This is my cherry!
The combination of cherry and the smoky note - just really nice. So the comparison to the smell of an ashtray is somehow fitting.
It actually smells like that, but in a cool way (strange, really, since I’m now a non-smoker and I HATE cigarette smoke).
A cheeky, unconventional scent that also lasts quite a while.
So the name really fits like a glove.
By the way, I don’t smell the floral notes at all!

For Tuberose Lovers
When I first tested the fragrance, my spontaneous association was chewing gum, but one of the sweet kind. At the same time, there’s a fruity freshness from the orange blossom.
I personally tend towards sweet scents.
My colleague, on the other hand, doesn’t like sweet fragrances as much; she prefers fresh/floral scents.
For her, it simply smells too sweet, while I also perceive a certain freshness.
So I think that anyone who doesn’t particularly like sweet perfumes will find L’interdit rather unsuitable.
The tuberose is definitely very dominant! You have to like that, and spoiler: I love it!
So, in summary, I would say that this fragrance is a tuberose bomb with a slight freshness.
I find the scent very special and I’m happy to have it in my collection.

Expensive Sunscreen
The first association I had with Tom Ford - Metallique was expensive sunscreen.
Back then, I hadn't yet delved into perfumes, and even now I would still consider myself a newbie, so I can't really say which fragrance notes led me to this association, but just as a side note.
In any case, it remains one of my favorite scents to this day. I had a sample back then and fell in love with it immediately. First metallic, then floral-sweet. This scent is simply really special.
I've heard that TF fragrances aren't very good in terms of longevity. However, I find that Metallique lasts quite a long time, easily 8 hours on me.
So for those who like to stand out and prefer sweeter scents, they should definitely check out TF Metallique.

Mega cozy!
Imagine you're sitting with a warm cocoa (with a little splash of rum) in front of the fireplace, nicely wrapped in a wool blanket on the couch, while grandma is baking cake next door.
That's how Vicious Cacao smells to me.
The raspberry is noticeable but quickly fades away, then all the warm notes come in. Cocoa, rum, caramel.
I love, love this scent; I would say it's a pure winter fragrance AND I find the price really quite reasonable.

Expensive Tea ️
I have to say, I really like several of the Memo scents. I sniffed my way through a perfume store and this fragrance caught my attention immediately. Winter Palace was truly love at first sight. Then I saw the price and thought; Phew! The tea notes are SO beautiful combined with the citrus notes. A warm scent also due to the vanilla, but I don't think it's only suitable for winter. LOVE IT! And despite the initially daunting price, I ended up buying it right away (Oops) ️
