A successful reformulation? South Sea feeling included
I've been familiar with that scent for quite some time. Years ago I had a sample of it when the brand was still called Une Nuit de Bali, and I had tested the fragrance extensively at the time and concluded that despite its originality I didn't need it. At that time, the smell still smelled very much of edible things: namely, a hearty, strong smell of a real spicy Indian curry with rice and also sweet. The S&H were bombastic. Scent for me was almost unbearable.

A lot of time has passed since then and now, shortly before Christmas, I get again 2 specimens of it in 2 different shops. At first I thought, "My goodness. I know him already and I don't like him. I'd prefer something else to try." But then I carefully tested the fragrance again at home. And she-he comes across very differently now that the brand is called Une Nuit Nomade. (Unbelievably, I compared the two fresh specimens with old leftovers and looked at posts on the foreign perfume lovers' site, and my suspicions seem to be justified. There are also other people out there who have noticed this change, sometimes with benevolence, sometimes with dissatisfaction about the loss of the perfume's originality :

The fragrance is now a real South Sea dream: sweet it has remained, but the sweetness comes from the tropical flowers and pollen, from frangipani and jasmine. A hint of rice still hovers in the air, but now it is a sweet jasmine rice cooked in coconut milk. And salt! A salty hint of the ocean that lends a pinch of intimate depth to the whole fragrance that is a skin scent. Towards the base, the fragrance becomes powdery and remains largely sweet.

The durability has deteriorated. The fragrance lasts for about 5 hours on the skin, after that the scent is a touch of sweetness. The Sillage has become considerably worse compared to the old version, but in return the fragrance is now completely suitable for office use as a skin scent with a minimal amount of Sillage. And more Sillage could probably get on your nerves quickly with the smell.

Feminine is a big word there, I think. But I can be wrong

Conclusion: I like the new version better than the old one. It has a relaxed South Sea holiday feeling instead of an Indian restaurant flair. Only the durability is unfortunately, in my opinion, a shame for this price

I know you (you Dupe),
cause you remind me of Black Orchid by Tom Ford. Oh, yeah! Almost 1:1 from the fragrance.

Of course only if you ignore the fine details, such as the fact that the Gold Edition is of a quite synthetic nature, does not change parktically (i.e. has no course and no noticeable base, at least for my nose) and the individual notes are not clearly smellable.

A dark, berry-floral scent. Currants or raspberries or both are in there, a little bit of chocolaty patchouli, ylang and rose perhaps and a hint of vanilla. Everything smells very opulent, intense, somehow chocolaty-sour. Practical like Black Orchid, in my opinion. I have "Black Orchid" and I like the scent very much.

And there's one thing: I think I'm allergic to Gold Edition, which I've only been allergic to once before, when testing "Bambou" (new version) by Weil . I feel like the top of my tongue gets a little paralyzed, I feel chemical lobe in my mouth while inhaling the scent and this uncomfortable feeling remains. It bothers me a lot and I think it's a pity.

Besides the durability and the Sillage are a shame. If you are a hammer at TF, Gold Edithion remains on my skin for a maximum of 3 hours and simply dissolves into nothing. I have the feeling that the one on my hair is no different, but I can be wrong about that.

The bottle is a real eye-catcher: mirror-like gold, heavy, looks very valuable.

The fragrance is available at T..xx for about 15 €.

Beautiful and good for a Dupe and for this small price in order, but I am allerdisch on him and therefore I must say to him unfortunately already after a short acquaintance "Adieu".

Spice soap for men
Desert Suave is a beautiful, masculine fragrance.

In the process it reminds me strongly of Casamorati "1888", therefore who likes this fragrance, will also like this one here. The scent has substance and is a dense mixture between an oriental and a clean-soapy shaving scent.

Everything begins sweetly resinous, almost ambered by feeling. Dates and orange blossoms, cistus... that'll be the mix. In this phase the fragrance is quite cuddly. A light Oriental that could also be easily worn by women. Gourmandig I find however the smell not at all.

After about 2 hours, however, the fragrance radically turns into masculine. A loud chord is pushed through the sweetness until finally only this chord remains, as in Casamorati 1888. In my opinion it now smells like a rather masculine spice soap, a very fine yet expressive shaving soap. There cardamom, carnation and wood paired with a soapy rose very finely blended with each other come to light, I think. I would also have liked to smell the smell on a man.

I find the shelf life as good as 7 hours and the Sillage as mediocre.

All in all a very fine fragrance for the man.

Black magic or bitter old witch a la "Blue Gras"?
"Wow, how extraordinary, how interesting!"
"Something unprecedented,"
"Great for the summer! Imagine: you have a slightly bitter, black, ethereal aura around you. Like a witch," I raved about 2 months ago in front of my girlfriend.
She had no sympathy for my enthusiasm. "He won't touch my skin" she could only say. Her rebuttal was noticeable to her. "She just doesn't know her way around perfumes. Or is just not their taste," I thought to myself. I know my way around that, don't I? ¶)

Still full of enthusiasm at home to my son: " Smell this. Isn't that nice?" "As nice as an old couch," was the answer. Hmmm, no one in this house understands the high art of perfume.

The day before yesterday I finally got myself a bottling, sprayed it on for the second time yesterday (the first time I thought I was snuffed): and...my enthusiasm disappeared somehow in the air. The fragrance is simply BITTER, sober and simply bitter. And yet unpleasant. And very quiet. So that hardly anyone can smell your scent aura when you wear it. Maybe for the best?

To be precise, it develops like this:

first minutes after spraying: slightly sweet, bitter chocolate aroma spreads. It fills like a patch, but there's nobody inside. It's a mixture of liquorice and rhubarb. I don't know, either. Fruity I can call the fragrance to no point.

After about 10 minutes, the fragrance becomes bitter, bitter-hyacin, bitter-smoky, bitter-synthetic-smoky.... Very unusual, but not pleasant at any moment when you smell directly on the skin,

and indirectly, already 30 cm away, one hardly reaches anything of the smell, I have at least the feeling that my family confirms. What a pity, because I was hoping for the magic effect at a distance.

After about 5 hours, the fragrance passes into its base. The base is not uncomfortable. The scent becomes sweeter and softer, thyme sends greetings.

More bitter old witch than black magic. But definitely unisex.

Possible customers: lovers of "good" old classics "Blue Gras". Both go, it seems to me, in a similar direction, both are quite "bitter". But "Blue Gras" seems unacceptable to me, because it is scratchy and synthetic in its appearance. "Black Diantus" is a relief compared to "Blue Grass", definitely not scratchy, softer and more portable, but no less bitter.

I'll leave the grade as it is. You can't deny the originality of the fragrance. And maybe I should give it another chance? Let's see.

All in all, the fragrance is no longer a potential buyer for me at the moment

A beautiful spring greeting
A useless Flanker, my ass. "Bambou Glace" has turned out surprisingly well.
Irini is right with her statement that inspired me to buy blind ;)
In contrast to her I smell no bamboo forest and no grass, nothing really green in the beginning and also nowhere in the course.

The flowers smell very intense, nectar sweet (that is, naturally sweetened, not overly, not pappsüß), but also very fresh, even slightly aquatic (I explain this circumstance by violets and green apple present in the pyramid) and no bit synthetic.

I don't smell single flowers and rose or peony I can't recognize for myself in this mixture. Even a bit old-fashioned this flower bouquet seems to me, but in the good sense of the word.

The base appears after about 5-6 hours. He's not surprising or outstanding. It is slightly sweet, creamy ambered (I have the impression of sandalwood, although not listed) and pleasant. And...The base remains, and remains, and remains, until the next morning, special in the hair and on the clothes.

For me, the big plus of the perfume is the well-developed sillage of the fragrance (in our time really a rarity) and its surprisingly good shelf life.

It is a beautiful, feminine fragrance, so not unisex.

The fragrance pyramid is listed on the packaging as follows:

Head: Poivre, Pomme Verte (pepper, green apple)
Heart: Pivoine, Violet, Rose (Peony, Violet, Rose)
Base: Muscs blancs, Ambre. (White mochus, amber)

You can buy the fragrance at T..xxx for 16,99€. A very good deal, I think. The quality of the fragrance is, especially at the price, completely convincing.
In any case, I am very satisfied with my purchase and have often used the fragrance.
