I know you (you Dupe),
cause you remind me of Black Orchid by Tom Ford. Oh, yeah! Almost 1:1 from the fragrance.
Of course only if you ignore the fine details, such as the fact that the Gold Edition is of a quite synthetic nature, does not change parktically (i.e. has no course and no noticeable base, at least for my nose) and the individual notes are not clearly smellable.
A dark, berry-floral scent. Currants or raspberries or both are in there, a little bit of chocolaty patchouli, ylang and rose perhaps and a hint of vanilla. Everything smells very opulent, intense, somehow chocolaty-sour. Practical like Black Orchid, in my opinion. I have "Black Orchid" and I like the scent very much.
And there's one thing: I think I'm allergic to Gold Edition, which I've only been allergic to once before, when testing "Bambou" (new version) by Weil . I feel like the top of my tongue gets a little paralyzed, I feel chemical lobe in my mouth while inhaling the scent and this uncomfortable feeling remains. It bothers me a lot and I think it's a pity.
Besides the durability and the Sillage are a shame. If you are a hammer at TF, Gold Edithion remains on my skin for a maximum of 3 hours and simply dissolves into nothing. I have the feeling that the one on my hair is no different, but I can be wrong about that.
The bottle is a real eye-catcher: mirror-like gold, heavy, looks very valuable.
The fragrance is available at T..xx for about 15 €.
Beautiful and good for a Dupe and for this small price in order, but I am allerdisch on him and therefore I must say to him unfortunately already after a short acquaintance "Adieu".
