The Weekend Away is a beautiful green and aquatic scent that is definitely a very, very good dupe for Woodsage&Seasalt. They are really extremely similar. I have both at home and took the time to test them side by side for a few days. In fact, I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the Weekend Away overall. In my opinion, the Weekend Away starts off a bit less salty and has a not quite as cool character as the Woodsage&Seasalt. This slight saltiness also dissipates a bit faster with the Weekend Away - which I find very good.
Overall, it is a bit warmer and spicier than the one from Jo Malone. In my opinion, it even lasts better and is more perceivable for longer, probably due to the tonka bean in the base, which gives it that warmth. To me, the Weekend Away smells like a gentle sea breeze with dunes or a hotel lobby by the sea. Simply clean, green, and aquatic, with a gentle warmth.
Performance and longevity, as mentioned, are stronger than with Woodsage & Seasalt, but still not spectacular. You can actually reapply after 3-4 hours. But for the price, I think the scent is really quite good, and for what it is, I appreciate it a lot :)

What can I say? I've never thought so long and intensely about a €12 fragrance and stayed awake all night sniffing my clothes. I am truly in love with this scent and I'm already super excited to wear and layer it in the near future. What's particularly new for me is that I like a Zara fragrance. Until now, they all smelled incredibly synthetic and arbitrary to me, or the scent development of the other Zara fragrances was a tiring up-and-down experience. This one, however, blew me away!

Admittedly, the first 2-3 minutes are a bit synthetic as well, but that fades away quickly and what comes next is worth it. We have a greenish freshness in the opening. Then it smells to me like a really nice vanilla cream, woody, slightly spicy, and a bit green. It is definitely not your average scent and very niche, especially for Zara. I really didn't expect that and I'm as happy about this fragrance as a little child. I believe that although it has a niche quality, it is still a real crowd-pleaser and definitely unisex. The intensity and longevity have also positively surprised me! I totally love it and I like to apply it in the evening after showering before I go to sleep. DEFINITELY a fragrance I would repurchase immediately when it runs out. I haven't thought so positively about a fragrance in this price range for a long time! :)

For me, it's a pure laundry scent that starts off a bit citrusy. In the dry-down, it becomes more subtle and the musk comes through nicely. For anyone who loves clean scents or simply wants to smell like freshly washed laundry, it's a very, very good pick, in my opinion. I find it very pleasant as it develops, even though the first 5 minutes can be a bit too intense. I could smell it on myself all day, which I found very enjoyable. You can wear it in any season, and it's a cool add-on for collectors! :) However, it wouldn't be a scent I would wear daily, as I tend to lean more towards gourmand, oriental, and sweet/woody fragrances. But if you want to intensify the nice smell of your fresh laundry and smell clean, it's a very, very good choice, even for everyday wear or at work. :)

I am truly head over heels in love with Vanilla 28 and have never gone through a fragrance so quickly. It is very sweet, sugary, slightly floral, and oriental. It develops into a very light and gentle spicy direction, but remains luxuriously vanilla until the end. It is one of those scents that you just can't get enough of, and to me, it also smells slightly of cotton candy and especially roasted almonds alongside the vanilla. For autumn and winter, it is one of my absolute favorites. It is perfect for layering because it gives any combination an intense vanilla, sweet, and strong base, but even when worn alone, it is an incredibly strong scent that definitely leaves a lasting impression. It radiates such a pleasant warmth that I simply can't get enough of this little potion. If it weren't already so popular and well-known by now, it would be a fragrance that I would definitely gatekeep. Although it is so intense and sweet, it is a sexy, seductive sweetness and by no means a childish synthetic sweetness! My boyfriend loves this scent too, and I have already been approached about it multiple times. Anyone who loves gourmand and vanilla perfumes should get their hands on Vanilla 28 as soon as possible. ️

Ari is a fragrance that I don’t have to think much about. Just spray it on in the morning and head out, and I will feel great with the scent all day long. This is partly because it is simply so "pleasantly sweet" and yet not too overpowering, like some other sweet fragrances, but also because it doesn’t project extremely strongly or get associated with a specific season. Somehow, it just works all the time; you smell feminine & clean, and it doesn’t annoy me throughout the day. (And sometimes even fragrances that I really like can annoy me if I wear them at the wrong occasion, for example.) I think Ari can be worn anytime without making a mistake.
If you are looking for an absolute sugar beast that lasts all day and leaves a huge scent cloud behind, then you are in the wrong place. But for what it is, I love and appreciate it, and I have already repurchased it 3 times, which is something that rarely happens with fragrances for me. For the price, it is an absolute gem in my collection, so I don’t want to be without it anymore. I find it to be very unique for a sweet fragrance, and I can’t think of any comparable scent.
