What does this have to do with Venus?
The Venus de Milo, an ancient Greek sculpture, depicts the Roman Goddess of Vénus (or Aphrodite as identified by the Greeks).

Venus is the goddess of love, beauty and procreation, so when I first saw the name, I thought to myself, this must be an alluring and sexy fragrance. I could imagine the scents of roses or jasmine being in this fragrance… but I was wrong!

From this fragrance, I could smell a prominent pineapple note, which reminded me of Aventus by Creed a little bit. I gave it another sniff after some time, and I could sense a whiff of passion fruits and oranges, which I thought to myself that this scent was familiar, and eventually it hit me — it smells like a tropical fruit punch! I was so disappointed by the fact that the scent does not fit the name of this fragrance.

Interesting Scent
When I think of honey as a fragrance, I think of a sweet, warm and rich scent — l’envol de Cartier for example — is what the Pooh Bear could taste in his honey pots.

Or perhaps a luxurious and powdery honey — like Back to Black by Kilian — very sophisticated yet clean.

But Miel d’Angleterre smells like honey. No, it does not smell like the ‘taste’ of honey, but the scent you get when you put your nose near a glass of honey water.

I am rather disappointed about this perfume, but it is a very realistic honey water scent.

Conversation in a Park
It smells like a joyful picnic in the park — the soft scent of grass and flowers reminds me of the season of Spring. To me, this is what the colours ‘white’ and ‘green’ would smell like.

Since it is a water-based fragrance, the longevity would be around 4 to 6 hours, and the scent profile is pretty linear.

This scent is definitely unisex, but inclines more towards the feminine side.
