Almost too mature for me
Whenever I smell this scent I can immediately recognise its beauty. A fantastic rose scent that feels like elegance in a bottle. eventhought i really enjoy smelling this fragrance I have found it quite difficult to find fitting occasions to wear this scent. It almost feels like the scent is made for someone of status and a certain level of maturity that i dont possess, i hope that i will soon be able to make this a regular scent in my rotation but at this time i just cant seem to find the right time to wear it.
Signature scent worthy
Years ago when i first smelled this I wasnt the biggest fan, when i recently smelled it again I fell in love with the scent. A beautiful ambery opening that feels sophisticated and elegant and transitions into a lovely sweet and gourmand vanilla that smells incredibly addictive. my most worn fragrance of the last year by far and a perfect scent for special occasions or even for daily wear.
Boring
its mid, nothing more nothing less. inoffensive, clean and fresh. just like thousands of other fragrances out there. it struggles to create its own identity within the fragrance space and barely has one within its own brand. similar to prada lhomme in many ways but lacks what made it so good. this fragrance feels like a mediocre cash grab to profit of off the surge in popularity that fragrances have seen in recent years.
Its overhyped ngl
Its a good fragrance dont get me wrong, very mass appealing and easy to like. A compliment getter for sure, but if you want a great fragrance its not the one to go for. very linear and a very harsh and plasticy opening that takes a few minutes to leave. Its good if you dont care that much about fragrances and if you just wanna smell good and get compliments but it could also be so much more.
Great but not fantastic
My initial reaction to testing it was "its kind of meh", it opened beautifully with this fruity and really sweet fig and later turned into something that kind of reminded me of cotton candy. I wasnt the biggest fan at first as I thought that it was too harsh and synthetic for some reason. I let the fragrance sit for some time and returned to it a few weeks ago and found that that synthetic smell that had irritated me at first wasnt an issue anymore and i could really enjoy the fragrance. Its defenitely worth a smell and i would recommend it to anyone looking to get a sweet and fruity fragrance for the summer and not the classic citrus thats so popular that time of the year.
