Anchor point
Relatively quickly in the first few weeks of my pregnancy, I started to feel nauseous, which lasted for months. This was accompanied by a sudden hypersensitivity of my nose - almost everything stank! Coffee, my skin cream, my favorite dish and, unfortunately, pretty much all the scents in my collection were just too much. I no longer dared to test anything and I painfully gave up my short trips to the nearest perfume department when I wanted to shed light on a problem at work from a new perspective. At some point, my little tester from the black-tie sharing fell into my hand - and without giving it much thought, I sprayed a spritz on my wrist, smelled it and lo and behold: it just smelled good. And I shed a little tear or two. I think many perfume lovers feel that collecting and trying perfumes always has something to do with the desire to create a certain fantasy and lose yourself in it. This brief interruption of everyday life, a certain idea of what role you would like to slip into. Really good fragrances always create strong feelings for me.
I will forever associate Black Tie with the feeling of regaining a bit of security and sovereignty in this exciting phase of my life. It has become an anchor point for me during pregnancy and I am very much looking forward to introducing it to my child at some point.
The fragrance itself is elegant, flattering, cuddly. A beautiful vanilla that is made incredibly soft by the iris butter. It is a skin scent, extremely precious, never too overpowering, but still there. In my original statement, I criticized the HS. In the meantime, however, I think that anything else would not fit the character of the fragrance. In my opinion, it has a timeless elegance, which is also reflected in the design of the bottle.
I am happy and grateful that this fragrance exists.
