The one who wears Nocturnes
Being a far descendant of Aphrodite, she is born from the foam. Not the sea foam though. The story of a modern Goddess begins in a foamy bath and follows the rituals of hygiene. Her low-key style consists of a white freshly ironed blouse and a black skirt. She might have sacrificed the length of her hair, but kept enough femininity in the seducing curves of her body. She loves fresh air and white flowers - lilies, white roses, lilies of the valley, so her favorite perfume must be Nocturnes by Caron.

Nocturnes, a bouquet of white flowers with an crispy edge of cool aldehydes. Fresh, clean and soapy as well as sensual, innocent and feminine.

This apparition is inspired by a cologne fraîche version from a miniature, but could also be applied to the modern EDT (there are some differences in smell though).

The smell of snowdrops and early spring
Eau de Gentiane Blanche is a nice example of an early spring cologne to me. The one made within the white and bluish grey range of color spectrum instead of summer infused yellow citrus and juicy green tones. The citrus notes are skillfully hidden there and transformed into the peppery green freshness of the first leaves and grasses blended with the bitterness of white gentian blossoms. The whole theme is extended with the floral white musk with transparent woody accents. Quite linear and subtle scent with sillage restricted to the intimate zone.

I don't know what white gentian smells like. And whether it smells at all. I do believe Jean-Claude Ellena, so I can easily associate this perfume with Alpine gentian. But being honest - if he told me this was a smell of snowdrops I'd believe him as well. And personally I'd prefer to associate this cologne with something familiar like snowdrops than something distant and unknown like gentian. So, to me Eau de Gentiane Blanche is the perfect smell of early spring. Its bitterness reminds me of the bitter capricious weather of this season and its white floral scent with green undertones makes me think of snowdrops.

I was surprised when I found people comparing this perfume to Grey Flannel on Fragrantica. To me it's not really a smell alike, but I have to admit the similarities in the character of both scents. Eau de Gentiane Blanche is a rather a silent one. With its freshness, soft sillage and musky trail it is a perfect scent for office wear. Or a quiet leisure day in early spring.

Patchouli covered roses
To my nose - a juxtaposition between rose and patchouli with patchouli covering the whole pyramid with its veil from top to basis giving the grass freshness in the top the accent of apple cider, making the flowery heart a bit melancholic and salty and bringing some wet earthy nuances to the base. The same concept as an old known Coco Mademoiselle, but with a stronger Rose and Patchouli contrast. Close to Diane by Diane von Furstenberg or Idylle Rose and Patchouli by Guerlain.

A modern eau de cologne
A fresh modern eau de cologne in the style of Mugler's Cologne (a kind of simplified version of it). Built around the sweet lime accord with its fresh juicy citrus note, a touch of zesty bitterness, green notes and sweetness in the basis. Extended with a touch of transparent woods and musky sweetness. Energetic? Yes, it is. A good choice for the refreshing wake-up and smile scent in the morning. It doesn't really last long on my skin and not as rich as Mugler's Cologne, but I still like to spray it sometimes in the morning when I need a small cheer up.

Elegant office scent full of character
Leather type of Bottega Veneta pour Homme makes me think of its possible descendants like Antaeus by Chanel en a little bit of Bel Ami by Hermes - a similar masculine leather and herbs mix.

On me its a calming and introvert scent that makes me think of a forest with its sweetish scent of fir balsem and the nuance of the decaying leaves.

It definitely has the character due to the leather and herbs notes on a dark base. But it's calm and not overpowering due to low silage - makes it a good office scent for someone who likes powerful, but not overpowering fragrances. And it has its elegancy as well.
