Beautiful
So to preface; I have been wearing the original L’imperatrice since high school(more than 10 years ago). It’s one perfume that I finish and restock on a fairly regular basis. I was browsing notes on this site and discovered that there was another variation of l’imperatrice, called Royale. So I ordered a travel spray because I read the reviews on here where people say it’s smells like the OG but more grown up. I absolutely love it. One spray I was hooked and I immediately ordered a full size bottle. Much like what everyone else says, it smells VERY similar, and though there’s no notes of watermelon listed it still very much has that scent to it. If you love the original version of this I guarantee you’ll love Royale. Everyone saying it’s more sophisticated is correct. The original is light and playful, Royale is still has that light playfulness to it but also much more grown and sexier.

Obsessed
Brings about images of a romantic night out, a high end niche quiet restaurant a glass of wine sits on the table with a couple, leaned into each other, laughter and whispers. It’s fruity but not a juvenile fruity, and complex, with a dash of vanilla some musk, with a hint of patchouli. This is a very controversial scent from what I’ve read from other reviews here. Some people hate this and thinks it smells like alcohol and cigarettes, others do not, myself included. I happen to be someone who personally Loves this. I hate the price. I don’t like it, not one bit; After buying the nomad sample from Byredo, this was the one out of all that I was drawn to. I am a sucker for plum and vanilla though. Even though I love it, this is NOT a safe blind buy. It’s STRONG and lasts long, so if you’re not a fan after spraying, you’ll either need to wait a few hours or shower. People seem to either love it or hate it. I love it.

Nice but Overpriced
Yes, I spent the money. No, I shouldn’t have. Would I do it again? Not this particular scent, but maybe another parfum de Marley. Who can say? Perfume can be such a weakness.
Look, i’m not mad, Delina is actually so pretty, feminine, inoffensive. She’s versatile! Can be worn during the day, during the night, I think it can work well in most situations. Work, play, literally whatever. This is a fragrance thats semi-sophisticated; not an old lady perfume but not juvenile. This is beautiful, but familiar. I wouldn’t call it unique, but it is gorgeous. Longevity is good, and it’s throws the scent pretty well.

Love this!
Birth of Venus is a scent I was unsure I’d like, several notes in this scent profile did have me questioning if I’d like it. I bought their sample pack because she is PRICY. Upon first spray though I loved it. Upon first spray it’s a lovely creamy citrusy raspberry moment, the dry down is more white floral, with citrus at the forefront. I was extremely worried about that chocolate note, I’m not a fan of chocolate fragrances even light ones. I was also a little worried about grapefruit lavender and sandalwood, those are hit or miss for me. Luckily (or unlucky for me if you’re my bank account) the chocolate note is pretty unnoticeable for me, and the other notes blend together so beautifully. So I bought the smaller bottle to save on money, but I went through that bottle SO quickly that I bought a full size bottle. I highly recommend this. I haven’t bought a full bottle of something so quickly in my life.

Nope.
For one millisecond it smells okay. Then it’s hours of headache inducing synthetic smelling strawberry plastic. TikTok hyped this. If you saw a video of someone saying they get stopped on the street for this, DO NOT fall for that. No one asked. I wouldn’t even recommend this to younger perfumer audiences. Children, tweens, teens. Nope, don’t blind buy or believe the hype.
