Aaahh, one of those hot summer days and you crave a big ice cream, strawberry ice cream with a hint of vanilla and cream, topped with cool, sweet, juicy, delicious strawberries marinated in sugar. I love that ice cream. The perfume, dating back to 1950, exudes the exact essence of a delicious strawberry ice cream, yet it does not come across as overpowering or sticky to my nose, but simply incredibly delicious. Those who enjoy these fragrance directions will love it, just like I do. It has been my favorite scent for a year now, one that I continuously enjoy wearing.

For almost 20 years, I have searched for this fragrance. Once, with a subscription to a perfume magazine, I received a miniature of Cassilia, which was groundbreaking for my development towards fruity, gourmand, and sweet scents. Unfortunately, it was not available anywhere in the Western world until recently, so I had to sadly accept that I might never get it. However, I continued to search for it online regularly since 2000. A few days ago, I found it: 3 bottles in the 50 ml size. I can hardly describe my happiness in words. The bottle resembles a pink evening gown. Specifically, the appearance of singer Michelle in a pink evening dress at the ESC 2001 with the song and lyrics "Wer Liebe lebt" reflects the elegance of this bottle, the fragrance, and my tireless search for it. Cassilia has only a light sweetness, starting with raspberries and blackcurrants, a bit of peach accompanied by apricots. The floral notes in the middle are just a hint, while sandalwood and tonka bean dominate the finish along with a touch of the berries.
Unfortunately, the longevity is only a maximum of 4-5 hours, and you need significantly more than 1-2 sprays, but it will always be a highlight to have the honor of finally wearing Cassilia.

It was one of those special days in the green perfumery. The branch manager saw me come in and walked towards me, beaming. She knows that I enjoy being advised according to my type. How does she always manage that? When I wanted to finalize my purchase, I already had a feeling of what was to come. I have something very special for you and suddenly she had an extraordinary bottle in her hand and BAM sprayed it on a strip. Pure fascination immediately seized me like a firework of glove-soft black nappa leather, which is always carefully rubbed and cared for with precious sweet balsamic vanilla oil. It has a slightly rockish vibe, a touch smoky, very balsamic, somewhat sweet, and very distinctive, but definitely not fresh or soapy. After the initial concentrated top note, the scent hardly changes. It has very good longevity, lasting on me at least until the next day on clothing for several days. The 75 ml bottle has, unlike the 40 ml bottle, a twist cap that is not removed but only twisted open/closed, like warm/cold on a faucet, THAT and this rubber ring that encircles the bottle fascinated me. So I had it sprayed on my arm. Suddenly, after what felt like 20 minutes, as if from a dream fog, slowly awakening, I see that I am in the men's department and must have looked quite disturbed. EXCUSE ME, is this a men's fragrance? YES and no, this is an exceptional scent that both ladies and gentlemen can wear, it's called unisex. AHAAA, I find that fascinating at 36 years old in 1998, and the scent is simply intoxicatingly beautiful and so special that I bought it and have since bought it again and again. Bvlgari Black is one of my best and dearest friends, one I could always rely on, but unfortunately, HE has left me; its production has been discontinued. Sometimes I still encounter him here or there when I miss him and search for him, then he is again my friend and we spend wonderful time together once more.

If you love sweet, rosy-scented, and full peonies, you are exactly in the right place. The fragrance is not distorted by inappropriate or unpleasant companions. Everything fits together and transports you to a cloud of sweet rose petals, a rose scent I have been searching for a long time. In the base, delicate rose petals meet velvety vanilla with a hint of sandalwood.
