Black Orchid is one of those perfumes that you try to talk about with care and respect, because I believe that its aroma is the result of a complex composition of high-quality essential oils. When you put it on your skin and hold it against the light, you can see a perfume that is dark in color and a bit oily.
Everything in it is dark, the bottle, the liquid, even the ingredients bring out their darkest side.
It is a very intense and long-lasting perfume that seems made to stand out and say “here I am, what's up…”. It also evokes luxury, jewelry, leather (only the concept, but not in aroma), night, opulence...
At the start I see a rather noticeable truffle, whose humidity is counteracted by citrus and currant. The currant provides a menthol nuance and a slight aroma of wine.
Then I see spicy notes appear, specifically thyme.
Little by little, the floral nuances become noticeable, including a dense and dark jasmine.
The appearance of the black orchid is very pretty. It is a scent that I really like. On my skin it looks like a soapy smell (but of course, this completely depends on the type of skin of each one).
At first the black orchid is perceived very clearly, but later it is wrapped in smoky nuances, patchouli and tobacco aroma.
The base is a bit softer and sweeter. Here I perceive notes of chocolate, vanilla and raspberry, although dark and smoky nuances are still present.
In my case, despite considering it a good perfume, I don't see it for myself, in fact, I admire people who dare to wear it, because it's not made for everyone.
Completely unisex.
So if you like dark and strong scents, this might be for you.

A fragrance that is a jewel, from the bottle, simulating a drop of amber, very well achieved, by the way, in its content. Quite a collector's item.
I bought the bottle that I still have 5 years ago and I can assure you that it is a truly charming, charismatic aroma, full of mysticism and respectful, since it is not invasive, although I always recommend trying before buying. avoid surprises.

As a whole it is an aroma in which soft spicy nuances can be appreciated, as well as having the ability to alternate between hot and cold.
The output is very aromatic, in which citrus fruits are initially perceived, especially mandarin. From them I perceive the intense aroma of their skin dried in the sun. Cardamom appears immediately, along with a lavender that my nose perceives and that is not declared. Subsequently, a sweet nuance appears that is identified with cinnamon and which in turn rounds off the tangerine note very well.
This is the warm phase of the perfume.
Afterwards it is very pleasant to feel how the aroma turns cold, a slightly metallic cold but that inspires cleanliness, the fruit of green tea and iris.
In my opinion I feel that this perfume is a fusion of Light Blue (Dolce anda Gabbana) and Infusion de Iris (Prada)(this aspect is very subjective, since each one perceives the similarities in a particular way).
The final phase is very beautiful, because it is where the woody nuance is really felt, together with an amber that melts into a creamy nuance, but very fine at the same time.

On my skin, its performance works better in winter, it lasts longer, but in summer, with the heat, the nuances are appreciated very well, which I think is wonderful, but, on the other hand, its durability is less.
In any case, I dose it a lot, because it is very difficult to find it and I want to keep keeping this jewel with me.

It is a perfume full of tenderness and innocence. Its aroma is rosy in color, like that of a beautiful baby's cheeks.
Memories of my childhood also come back to me, since its smell reminds me of the solid wax air fresheners that my mother hung in her closet, and when I say air freshener I don't mean it in a bad way, in fact these air fresheners smelled very good. They were like little pearls that were inside little plastic boxes.
The rose and jasmine (although I also perceive nuances of orange blossom) are wrapped in a fine and clean talc. Afterwards, the musk is quite noticeable, leaving even the powdery in the background. For those who like musky scents, this may be for you.
In general, it is a simple perfume, which easily pleases its wearer and the people around him. Its aroma provides well-being, warmth and security.
For the first 3-4 hours it feels intense. From here, the intensity gradually decreases, but throughout the day small bursts of its aroma come and go, reminding you how beautiful this perfume is.

Alive I bought it last year, in the winter months. When I put it on my skin I was very disappointed, since I had tried it before on a blotter and I really liked it.
Its entrance was quite medicinal, I could not perceive fruity notes, nor wood, nor cinnamon, much less vanilla, which I love in perfumes. My nose did not perceive anything that was not that smell of medicine.
I left it in the closet for months, and this summer, I looked at him, he looked at me and decided to give him another chance... and love arose...
The result is a liqueur and sweet infusion of plum, currant and apple. My nose does not highlight one note more than another, they are well mixed. Cinnamon appears a few minutes later, but just right.
In the middle notes, the thyme is quite noticeable, perceiving a spicy point that is quite surprising after that sweet start.
Subsequently, you can see how the vanilla is emerging, a yellow and sweet vanilla that melts between the woody notes.
The background no longer feels sweet, it is rather dry and slightly bitter.
Therefore, I can say that this perfume definitely works on my skin in the summer months. I thought it would be the other way around, but my ph is that strange....
It is not a perfume to lose your head, but it is pleasant, I would describe it as woody gourmet.
Its performance and duration are decent. Personally, I wouldn't wear it to go to work, but it would be fine for going out.

Byzance could be defined as an opulent and captivating perfume, in which the essential oils are almost palpable and whose hallmark is sensuality. It captivates you from the bottle, with that deep blue and delicate golden decorations, to its peculiar aroma.

At the exit I feel a pear liqueur and a dry bitterness that comes from the bergamot, which makes its entrance quite aromatic. The neroli feels quite woody and viscous, very well fused with a very subtle freshness of fig leaves, which does not appear in the olfactory pyramid (I love this note in perfumes).
In the middle notes, heliotrope and freesia contribute their sweetest facet, and this is when vanilla begins to stand out, a smoky, woody, balsamic and dark vanilla, which makes this perfume feel deeper and darker in its evolution. (this phase is the most seductive). Along with that vanilla, I also feel the aroma that the fig branches give off when they are set on fire. From the rose I only perceive a powdery nuance.
The vanilla remains until the end of the perfume's life. When the woody notes have faded, vanilla remains with a delicate sweetness.

It is a very complete and quality perfume, whose treatment of aromatic notes make it unisex. It has a great sillage and even greater longevity and performance, about ten hours on my skin.
Its use is advisable in cold times due to its intensity and night outings due to its beautiful darkness.
