I came across the fragrance through a video by Marc Gebauer. I was still at the very beginning of the niche world and thought to myself that spending over €100 on a perfume that I hadn't even tested was a tough ask. But the fragrance This is not a Blue Bottle 1.2 opens with a tangy-fresh mixture of bergamot, grapefruit and elemi, which is very positive for me. The citrusy notes dominate the first impression and give the fragrance a lightness and liveliness. I've been using the fragrance for over a year now and still enjoy smelling it today.

After a few minutes, the heart note develops, in which iris, lavender and violet form the foreground. The powdery and floral notes harmonize wonderfully with the freshness of the top note and give the fragrance an elegant touch. This interplay irritated me at first, but I now love this composition.
The base notes of ambroxan, musk and sandalwood provide a warm and creamy finish. The woody notes give the fragrance a certain depth and round off the composition perfectly. The whole interplay of the fragrance still fascinates me to this day.

For a fragrance that combines freshness and powderiness, it has moderate longevity. I can still smell the fragrance even after 5 hours. The sillage is subtle, but still perceptible. The fragrance is therefore perfect for everyday office or closed rooms. As it is not overpowering, it can also be worn by people who are not so keen on perfume.

This is not a Blue Bottle 1.2 is an ideal fragrance that has made it into my TOP10 for life. It is wonderful for those who are looking for an elegant yet fresh fragrance. It is perfect for everyday wear and the office, but also suitable for special occasions. An absolute buy recommendation from me!

Nishane Ani is an oriental, spicy-sweet fragrance for men and women that was created in 2019 by Turkish perfumer Cecile Zarokian. The fragrance is available in two versions: as an eau de parfum and an extrait de parfum.

The top note of Ani is dominated by the fresh and spicy notes of bergamot, green notes and blue ginger. Finally, the base note is woody and spicy with notes of patchouli, cedarwood, benzoin, ambergris, musk and sandalwood.

Ani has above-average longevity and sillage. The fragrance lasts throughout the day and can also be detected at greater distances.

Ani is a powerful and expressive fragrance that is suitable for special occasions. It is ideal for evening events, festive celebrations or a romantic evening for two. However, the fragrance can also be worn in everyday life if you want to treat yourself to something special.

I think Nishane Ani is a very successful fragrance. It is complex and multi-faceted, yet harmonious. The blend of fresh, spicy, sweet and woody notes is very successful. The fragrance is elegant and refined, but also powerful and expressive. I can recommend Ani without reservation, even if I celebrate its brother "Nishane Ani X" a little more :-)

I have often heard that it is an overpriced Creed fragrance and could easily be replaced with Davidoff Cool Water.
Anyone who has or has ever tested this fragrance knows that this is not true.

Creed Green Irish Tweed has a very good longevity of up to 8 hours. The sillage is medium so that it can be noticed by others but is not too intrusive.

It is a timeless classic that is one of the best men's perfumes in the world. It is fresh, elegant and versatile and can be worn on all occasions.

I own a 2018 batch and had never tried a newer one, so I can only review this batch.
