Masculine Mandarin
I love citrus-fresh scents.
I stumbled upon this fragrance by chance through a swap in the forum.
I didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised.

So far, I have never encountered a mandarin/orange scent that is more beautiful than this one.
As soon as it's sprayed, good mood sets in and a lovely mandarin immediately fills the nose.
In the background, a beautiful orange plays, dominating at times stronger and at times weaker.

I particularly like the green touch from vetiver and the masculine spiciness.
I really enjoy the whole thing, and it is something quite special.
The longevity is also impressive for this type of fragrance.
It lasts about 5 hours, and a wonderful fruity-citrus aura surrounds you, spiced with a rugged masculinity.

A very nice fragrance that lifts your spirits.

Best regards,
Sebastian

Forbidden Black Tea on Steroids
My third comment on a Tom Ford fragrance.

TV is also my number three fragrance from the Ford house.
Unfortunately, it is also one of the forbidden scents in the Schmidt house.

Sadly, my wife wrinkles her nose and complains every time I wear it.
There are exactly two TF fragrances she can't stand, namely Tuscan Leather and this one.

Since I don't like being without TV, I enjoy wearing it when going out with friends or just for myself during the day.

To smell tobacco, I really have to sniff closely.
I perceive it more as smelling like black tea, and in a very pure way.
I've read that it smells like an ashtray, which I can't understand at all.
What I particularly like about the Ford is the spicy note; I perceive it as clove, which makes it masculine for me and sets it apart from its scent twin, Tabac Rouge.
The latter is much sweeter to me.

You don't have to say anything about longevity; it lasts and lasts and lasts.
Moreover, it is a fragrance that has a nice sillage and is always noticed.

Seasonally, it fits well into the colder months, but I've also worn it on a summer evening.

I hope I've made you eager to test it; it's definitely worth it.

Best regards,
Sebastian

The Most Beautiful Compliment
About half a year ago, we visited the local kindergarten.
We went from group to group and looked at our daughter's future kindergarten.

In the preschool group, a little boy came up to me.
Boy: “Hey you!”
Me: “Hello little one, how are you?”
Boy: “So you’re the one who smells so good!”

And off he went.

That was the most beautiful compliment I have ever received for a fragrance.
And I also think that Oud Wood comes into its own best when worn; the scent in the air is simply fantastic.
When I first tested it as a sample, I didn't find it nice at all on my wrist.
But there are just fragrances that give a false impression during the wrist test and only reveal their true beauty when worn.

I don’t perceive the oud directly, but I find the spicy sweetness (tonka, cardamom, pepper) with a green undertone in the background to be the most beautiful.
It is elegant and a great scent for going out or for the professional day with a suit.
The sillage may not be overwhelming, but in close proximity, it is very well perceived.
I rate the longevity at 6-7 hours.

After Neroli Portofino, this is my second favorite Ford, and I just love the fragrances in these beautiful bottles.

Best regards,
Sebastian

Magnum's Signature Scent
Hi!
I come from a time when chest hair was still sexy.
I wore colorful shirts and a leather jacket.
When I get out of my car, women turn their heads to look at me.
They love my mustache just as much as my scent.
I wear Zino.

Unfortunately, times have changed a bit.
When I was young, very young, there was this type of man.
When you watch old videos, you just think, what happened to the world of men?

Today, men prefer sweet, syrupy, almost feminine scents, and the girls love it.
When I wear old-school fragrances, I unfortunately often clash and occasionally get my nose wrinkled at.

I don't care; I love scents like Zino and want to smell like that.
My version of Zino is a current one, and I can only judge this one.
I am absolutely satisfied with it.

The zesty start is always spicy, becoming more robust without losing a certain sweetness.
However, what I love the most is the drydown, which makes this perfume a must-have for me.

The sillage is really good for the first 4 hours and then becomes a bit closer to the skin.
It easily lasts through a workday, and I would estimate the longevity at around 8 hours.

I generally love the house of Davidoff and also appreciate fragrances like Cool Water and Relax.

Zino is ultimately proof that even in local stores that don’t carry niche fragrances, there are still a few candidates that stand out from the crowd and do their own thing.

Best regards,
Sebastian

The Rushing River
I am a nature guy.
Even though it is early in the morning and still fresh, almost icy, I stand shirtless by a mountain river.

My face is covered with shaving cream and I am shaving with my safety razor.
I breathe in the fresh mountain air and exhale the air as steam.

Behind me is my rustic wooden cabin.
I am a real man and smell like a real man should.

Himalaya from Creed simply reflects something cool and fresh through its silver bottle.
Such images immediately come to my mind.
Days when I go to the barber freshly shaven are always the perfect days to wear this scent.
I love wearing this fresh, shaving cream-like mountain river scent.
You just smell masculine, and Himalaya does this in an elegant way.

When it comes to the price, everyone must decide for themselves whether to reach for Creed.
There is also a good fragrance twin from Creed, Xs Pour Homme, but I find Himalaya smells nobler, though it is a bit more linear.

The sillage is not excessive, and the longevity is about 4 hours.

A nice all-rounder that is worth a try.

Best regards,
Sebastian
