Lamar for men?!
I've become a bit of a Kajal fan and this fragrance prompted me to write my first review.
-First creation by Patrick Müller, first
Review by Batrick88, fits after all.
The fragrance is very multifaceted for me, although there are some fragrance notes that always come to the fore and replace others.
At the beginning,
Lamar Noir starts with a fresh, crisp green apple and rose.
After a few seconds, leather also joins in, this leather note always accompanies the fragrance subliminally.
As the fragrance progresses, the apple gives way to a pineapple, this pineapple note paired with the roses then also build the bridge to
Lamar for me. Because the noir is probably supposed to be a flanker.
At about the same time, a smokiness and a sweet caramel note are added, almost as if you were grilling the pineapple on charcoal, I like that very much.
There is also oud in the fragrance pyramid and yes, the animal notes are there. I haven't had such good experiences with oud so far, but here oud is so beautifully incorporated and underlines the fragrance wonderfully.
As the hours go by, the fragrance becomes more and more balsamic and woody. The caramel note remains and our burnt pineapple is almost gone by now.
Durability is, on my skin, extremely long, easily 12h+. Sillage is also very strong.
To come back to my headline: On parfumo,
Lamar is listed as a women's fragrance, but I also like wearing it myself. Maybe Kajal wanted to create a men's version of their successful fragrance and they succeeded. I would say that
Lamar Noir is more of a man's fragrance.
But I can also imagine it on a woman.
Thank you very much for reading.
Best regards, Patrick
