Not a keeper
I like all of these accords, but I got nothin'. No patchouli, no rose. It smelled like citronella bug spray, followed closely by pencil shavings, flat-lining with milky Endust furniture spray. Disappointing. Thank goodness for return policies. (My review from another site)

Not a true aquatic
If you're looking for a perfume without any skank whatsoever, this is the one!

It does have the "aquatic" note because of the lotus, but I would not call this a true aquatic scent like Acqua di Gioia. It's way too floral. But the florals are kept light and fresh. I'm not getting the musk or the patchouli, just a light, natural (not synthetic) floral. It smells like someone who has been outside working in the flower patch in the sunshine on a breezy day. You know...that "outside" scent. But slightly more floral. It is not green or powdery. It is slightly sweet, but that's more from the freesia, I think, than any other typical "sweet" note used in modern perfumery.

It's stronger than I thought it would be, based on the reviews, but it is by no means obnoxious! This is a pretty and romantic scent. It can be had for a very good price online, too. I've never seen it in a store. The bottle looks like something you might see on a grandmother's vanity. I have to note that I really love the sprayer on the bottle--it sends out a moderately sized cloud of fine mist particles.

Because this fragrance is so inoffensive, it is suitable for business, schools, or church, but it is also very suitable for a romantic dinner out! It smells beautiful in free-flowing hair!

This may not make it to my top shelf, but it's super close. I like it a lot!

Top shelf worthy
I must confess that I was very pleasantly surprised today when I spritzed this on! It is a very approachable fragrance that would suit an office, school, or church environment. It's not loud, but people will know it's there, barely. It has a light and airy quality to it, similar to how SJP Lovely dries down, but the notes are different. Frankly, I like this one better. Every note is balanced perfectly: a bit of pepper, but not too much; a bit of rose, but not too much; some sweetness, some fruitiness, some powder, but not too much of any one thing. Nothing overwhelms anything else. I never really smelled the bergamot or apple, and the top is fairly bright and clean, but again, not overly citrusy.

The drydown is great. Some vanilla and patchouli come into play, but again, not too much.

Sillage is within an arm's length, but gets a bit softer through the day. This has lasted about 8 hours, but now it's beginning to fade. Bottle is gigantic and not overly made up. The product is selling class and elegance and prevails at that handily in all areas.

I'm rather shocked, but this has made it to my top shelf in one day! An overall wonderful scent that is very well done. There is nothing I would change about it, other than the new, outrageous supply-and-demand price! LOL

Not amazing
I can definitely tell this is a Euphoria flanker. I have enjoyed the original since its inception, so I was intrigued by the listed notes to try this one. It is quite manly, but with an underlying sweet-fruitiness. The opening cinnamon note--which is what drew me to this, honestly--is very fleeting, sadly. Right now, I have a sneeze in my nose that won't come out! I'm thinking it's the orchid that's being so loud and screechy because, generally, I like sandalwood. Maybe the combination of orchid/sandalwood is what is making me sneezy?! Anyway, I do sorta like it, and I am hopeful that the drydown will introduce more of sandalwood's creaminess that I enjoy. I also wish more cinnamon would come into play again. My husband does not like this one or the original Euphoria because he says it makes me smell too masculine, and I would agree. The initial couple hours of the original are more masculine, but it smooths out eventually, and I am hopeful for the same on this one.

I bought the bottle off ebay, and it is the gigantic one! It's going to last into next century because, honestly, I can't see how often I will choose this one. I still can't get the sneeze out.

Sillage is impressive--fills my house! Longevity also seems to be there. If it changes, I will edit this review.
EDIT: This has lasted over 12 hours, and still going strong. The screechiness has mostly left, but I can still detect it a bit. I think it gave me the headache I had today, so I might try it again to see what happens next, but I'm certain this will not make it to my top shelf. Too obnoxious. I like my perfumes to "flow," not "scream."
EDIT (July 2107): This was the first one to make it to my swap list. It's just too masculine and screechy for me. I really can't stand it, frankly. But I will pat myself on the back for trying to love it!

Two Thumbs Up!
I see that this perfume needs a positive review here! This was my signature scent back in high school and college in the late 80's-early 90's. I haven't had it for 20 years or so, and I recently bought a vintage perfume on ebay. I love it for the nostalgia, but this perfume is so amazing on me! It smells *really* good. Even my husband loves it, and he rarely likes my favorite perfumes. There is nothing else out there that smells like this one. It is not overwhelmingly loud or cloying like other scents from the 80's. It just smells fresh (without being soapy) and floral. It's a great daytime and office perfume or just for hanging around the house.

I have both the edp and the edt. The edp is vintage and lasts 12+ hours. The edt is a new bottle (it is no longer discontinued; I got my edt a month ago at Walmart) and only lasts about 2-3 hours before it requires reapplication.

I'm one of the few who loves that tacky, bold triangle! It really reminds me of the 80's! Although I have to say that the quality of the new bottle isn't good. It's not as heavy as I remember it, and the cap is extremely difficult to pull off. But don't let this scare you off--the perfume is really wonderful! And it is not expensive. A winner all around!
