Absolu? Is that you?
I’m not going to lie, if you removed the sweet spice of Absolu Aventus and replaced it with a green-leathery spice it would be this stuff. If it were just a touch sweeter I’d safely call it the poor mans Absolu alternative just based off the way the vetiver, patchouli, and pink pepper intertwine with the lemon and bergamot top notes.
Save your money
Synthetic and designer have never been a pair of words in my mind while smelling a Roja scent but they’re the only two that come to mind when I smell Elysium Noir. Smells like Y edp, green and dark body wash. Simple, linear, synthetically fresh; it’s unexciting as a whole. This bottle doesn’t deserve to wear the Elysium name.
