I got this as a 2 ml sample almost a year ago and found it again yesterday. I was curious since there is a lot of hype around CH's fragrances (even if a few people are on my side regarding the hideous gendered bottles). I sprayed 2 sprays on my forearms and immediately asked my partner, "can you feel any smell?".

The fragrance is a weak, most synthetic rose, more like a rose scented soap bar or kids shampoo than a perfume. I'm almost anosmic to it, the only note of the top- and heart that I can feel is the rosewater. How much does this perfume cost again...?

The drydown comes quickly after about 2 hours. Again I'm surprised by the abysmal quality of the notes. No vetiver to my nose, only an extremely headache inducing vanilla. I'm almost impressed - it's so weak, yet so irritating. Mind you I'm not sensitive to fragrance, I enjoy 80's flower bombs and even 90's cinnamon notes.

If CH had chosen higher quality ingredients this might have been OK and matched it's price range. I'm missing the cherry, almond, and vetiver. I'm afraid this would have been better off as that bar of soap.

This was love at first spray. My favorite fragrance in the world is Hiram Green's Slowdive - pure real honeycomb with honeyed white flowers in the background. This has the same spirit; while not being an identical twin, it's almost equally amazing. I'm also reminded of Burberry London's honeysuckle explosion. The apricot comes out first, just for a moment, a not-so-gentle introduction paired with a pink pepper puff. After it: sticky honeycomb, so sweet it's narcotic, surrounded by jasmine and red rose petals. The rhubarb and almond are small but there, breaking off the golden enormous sweetness. A vintage suede purse in the background, but I don't notice the labdanum.

If you don't love honey and extreme sweetness, steer clear of this. It's almost tooth acing, but not immaturely candied. It has a great naturalistic quality that I appreciate - not synthetic to my nose, but a photo of an english garden in high summer heat. It's a masterpiece and I cannot wait to get my hands on a full size. Damn, Quentin Bisch, I could kiss you for this.

I have a sample of this that both I and my girlfriend have tried for 2 days.
Mayar Natural Intense is not quite so intense, but still makes an impression.

The blue bottle matches the inside quite well. The first spray introduces aquatic coconut, not musty but fresh and just opened. After a moment a photorealistic red watermelon blooms. It's not the overripe calone of Cool Water and similar y2k aquatics, but instead juicy and cooled. I don't catch any fig in the opening, and the mandarin orange is low volume.

Lotus and water lily are a short medley in this; the dry down comes quickly with quite a bit of ambroxan and white musk. I don't mind this, but I know some are sensitive of ambroxan - if you are, don't try this out. The lotus flower continues blooming for a while but gets replaced by rich vanilla in the end. After a night, the scent is gone.

I find connections to Zarkoperfume's Youth and L'imperatrice in this juicy waterfall of a fragrance. Also, it's the first time my girlfriend has called a perfume hot - make of that what you want.
