Today I received a sample from a dear perfumer and immediately took a trip down memory lane to my childhood (thank you for that!).
The scent felt very familiar to me; I know it! This is exactly how my grandma smelled in the 70s. However, she only had two perfumes, Tosca Eau de Cologne and Nonchalance Eau de Toilette ?
I enjoy smelling the sample, but I wouldn't want to smell like that; it's too old-fashioned for me. “madamig”.

In the early 90s, I was in my early 20s. A good friend had bought "Diva". She is a very dark type, beautiful like a Spanish woman, and the scent was stunning on her. I had to have it, even though it didn't really suit me,
The other day I ordered a fragrance and was browsing through the offers of the online perfumery. Diva was offered at an unbelievably low price and I couldn't resist .....
Today the package arrived. I was already so excited with joy. The package was quickly opened, the fragrance was sprayed on, and then ... horror, is this supposed to be Diva? It's been many years since I last smelled it, but I still have it exactly in my "nose". Very warm, oriental, grown-up but not old-fashioned. For me, it now smells absolutely terrible like "grandma's perfume"! ... yuck :-(
