Burning and dying wood close to the factory and the forest
Martyr – I really enjoy being pleasantly surprised among the hundreds of scents I encounter, many of which feel derivative, mediocre, copied, bland, and lacking any sense of storytelling as they project on the skin. This time, the fragrance truly surprised me… and in a hugely positive way.
Starting with the name – a brilliant idea, followed by an even better concept and execution of the bottle design. And then the juice itself: the composition/blend, longevity… What intrigued me the most, though, was the evolution over time, which I perceive as a coherent story. There’s also a sense of maturity and craftsmanship from the creator that ties it all together. Bravo.
I’m doubly satisfied, even more so because the scent truly aligns with my specific taste. I absolutely LOVE perfume brand debuts like this. Instead of a few “meh” scents, we get a solid “TA-DA!”
The perfume opens strong and dark – for me, it evokes the smell of smoldering wood burning near… a factory. Over time, the scent becomes increasingly woody, with a darker aroma reminiscent of an old forest, damp undergrowth.
In the drydown, I see a picture forming of brighter resinous, woody, and green notes emerging – especially oakmoss – although the smoky opening still lingers, like a powerful inhale of scent that stays in your nostrils and on your clothes from the beginning.
This is a really cool creation, with an interesting evolution and truly good, or even great, performance. The opening somewhat reminded me of Black Tar (Parfumerie Particulière), and also a bit of Incendo (La Curie).
Highly recommended – and major applause to the Artist behind this work.

Carpenter’s studio in tire repair shop
In this scent I have an image of what a painter's or carpenter's studio organized in a former tire repair shop could smell like. The smell of wood, varnish, turpentine, resins, wet green after rain and plastic mix here. It is not an unpleasant or off-putting smell, but really very artistic, interesting, wearable and ... addictive. A little, somewhere it reminds me of the smell of Black Tar (Parfumerie Particulière)
Bitter sweet dervish (darWISH) dance
Great perfume. Very surprising for me, because it doesn't remind me of anything similar. Resins, incense in a bitter-sweet version. Somewhere you can also feel notes of tobacco, some leather, wood. Unusual and unique. Very good durability and projection. …………………………………… …………………………..…… ………………………………… …………………………………

Peaty dark forest
Super niche scent. Perfectly blended and suggestively showing dark, peaty, dry, old forest with a rising and smoky scent of juniper and peat. I recently bought a friend who loves heavy, peaty whiskey - 12 year old Laphroaig Quarter Cask. I think that as a complement to the taste values - it would be easy to add samples of Monolith to complement the olfactory sensations while consuming this Whisky. Strong and unique stuff. Projection and durability very good.
Smoky bar, spilled wine on a piano
What I love about this passion is that every once in a while you come across a perfume that smells different from the ones I've already come across. Except that it's totally and surprisingly different for me. Then I wonder "what happened here", what the creator mixed and how and what the ingredients are. In this scent, for me, the creator really mixed it up in the sense of selecting the ingredients, proportions, their combination and, above all, in the sense of obtaining these specific and unique ingredients used in this perfume. The beginning of this scent (batch I from 2024) is for me the smell of wine poured on some unusual wood. Then the smell of slightly smoky labdanum begins to appear and again closer to an unidentified scent note associated with some varnished wood. Gradually, slightly sweet, resinous notes come to the fore and we feel warmer and nicer. A really interesting and unique fragrance work. If I had to compose a photo or a picture for this scent, it would probably be a slightly smoky bar and spilled red wine from a glass standing on a piano, where a musician sits and plays some calm, relaxing and sentimental melodies. The scent is rather close to the skin, with quite good durability for the only natural ingredients used. It can appeal to both women and men.
