Magic
Once, the bees gathered nectar from the delicate flowers in the clearings of Britain's forests and turned it into golden honey.
The fairies harvested it and infused it with milk, morning dew, and magic.
Boadicea bottled it to grant the wearer the power of seduction.
But to succumb to the honey and the intoxication itself is the greatest danger for the wearer. A danger they willingly expose themselves to...

First blue, then wow!
So this is my very first comment on Parfumo. What prompted me was that my bottle of Lignum Vitae just ran out. And now I urgently need to order a new one. Because I don't want to be without it anymore...
Hooked by the great marketing, I ordered a sample three weeks ago, which arrived together with another fragrance order. Dark scents are totally my thing. And I find the names of the Beauforts quite amazing. So which one did I want to test the most? A tricky matter, as the ham notes in the descriptions really put me off. I'm an old vegetarian. I then chose this candidate, as it sounded very interesting.
So when I finally had my sample, I sprayed it on my arm the night before going to bed. I was initially disappointed. It smelled to me only like the blue shower gel mentioned in the statements. So not a candidate for purchase.
But since I like to use up my samples (or at least try to), I wore it two days later.
And lo and behold, it was worth it. Now I could distinguish the fragrance notes, smelling citrusy, slightly aquatic, and unsweetened, dark cookie. A strange combination, but it works really well.
On the third wearing, it really clicked.
This scent is extraordinary, yet very wearable, even in everyday life. It wraps me in a cocoon all day long, but never becomes annoying, providing warmth and self-confidence.
Yesterday, a friend who had never commented on my perfume before asked me, "You're wearing a great scent. Extravagant, but I really like it. What is it?"
At that point, I was already clear that it had to join my collection. Not just to look pretty there, but as a favorite candidate that will be worn constantly.
It's a shame that so little is said about it. A really good scent. Fits every season, simply smells good, and is truly a quality highlight. I just had to draw attention to it. So, I will stop typing now, as I am going to order my Lignum Vitae. I'm happy to have discovered it.
And I've learned something new again. It's often worth a second and third sniff. Especially when, like me, you're still rather inexperienced.
So please test it. It's worth it.
