Rose of a poem
Acrasia, in Spencer's unfinished poem, “The faerie Queen”, is the enchantress, seducer of knights, comparable in parts to the sorceress Circe of the Odyssey.
This creation wants to reflect the soul of this fatal witch: we have an alcoholic, almost intoxicating opening, from which a rose emerges which, in my little experience, comes out of the classic mold.
It's attractive but pungent at the same time, something really unusual that I initially couldn't appreciate. Trying it again, I have to say that it is unique and pleasant, really special, and I would gladly wear it.
It is the Acrasia painted by Strudwick, beautiful, seductive, surrounded by Rose but with a nature around her that is at times restless and dark.
