The most beautiful saffron cloud..
Alkout is qualitatively one of the most intense fragrances I have ever smelled. The price for such incredible quality is almost acceptable, but because the scent bears such a strong resemblance to the OFG, the high price is completely unjustified. Anyone who demands such high prices should release fragrances with identity, something unique, something that makes you say "Yes, this money was worth it and nothing smells like this." After a few hours, the fragrance becomes a bit more independent. The rose becomes dominant and the oud also says hello. The oud combined with the saffron and the rose is really lovely. It is aromatic, spicy, floral, leathery - everything the heart desires. If it weren't for the OFG, I would spend the €650; otherwise, qualitatively this is a 10/10, just like the H/S is a 10/10.

Shining Superstar.
For me, Starlight ranks among the top of the gourmand league. The opening is dominated by spices. How much cardamom? “Yes” If you don’t like cardamom, you should stay away from this fragrance, because here cardamom not only plays in the starting lineup but is also right up front in the attack, ready to “head in” every cross. Some might say it’s a bit too aggressive, but I think that’s exactly how cardamom should be.. loud, zesty fresh, and hungry. In the midfield, there’s cinnamon, clove, and almond as the heart of the whole team. Very harmonious, softly sweet. However, the almond is the captain, and nothing gets past the almond. The almond directs and leads the game until the end without getting tired. Starlight is love, hope, and happiness. On my skin, it performs fantastically like all Xerjoff’s, easily 8-9 hours. Don’t be put off by the opening, because the dry down is sweet, creamy, and simply heavenly, out of this world -Starlight-

“One-Night-Stand”
First of all, a beautiful scent. The opening
with lavender, bergamot is quite fresh, aromatic, but it doesn’t last long, as the fragrance quickly transforms. It becomes sweet, slightly spicy, oudy, woody, and leathery. Immediately, I think: “I know you, you’re the brother of Oud for Greatness.” Both houses, Initio and Parfums de Marly, are related, so I forgive Haltane for smelling similar to Oud for Greatness. If you have Oud for Greatness, you don’t need Haltane, as the longevity is quite poor for a perfume that contains oud, saffron, leather, and musk. OFG, on the other hand, lasts easily a day, while Haltane is almost gone for me after 4-5 hours. It feels like all PdM fragrances have been reformulated and lost in longevity. Be that as it may, the scent is nice, but for the money and due to the poor longevity, there are much better alternatives in a similar genre.

Love at the "6th Glance"
In the German perfume bubble, not an unknown. And I had already noticed the scent. With high expectations, I opened the package with the sample and detected the fragrance, and then came the disillusionment Puhh… not at all what I had expected. It was somehow indefinable, dense, heavy - it simply smelled old. I was very disappointed because I had expected something sweet, fruity, rosy with saffron. Initially disappointed but then also “happy” I thought to myself.. luckily I don’t like it, then I don’t have to buy it. After some time, I gave the fragrance a second chance and I began to perceive the rose, it suddenly became sweeter. 17 Rosso started to appeal to me. Every time I sprayed the scent, I noticed more and more nuances and fell deeply in love. What was so strange in the opening was the mint, but now I understood 17 Rosso and fell hopelessly in love. The most beautiful rose-saffron combo I have ever smelled. Give the fragrance a chance and you won’t regret it!!!
