Entry-level incense, but nothing more
Let's get back to one of my late night (or early morning?) perfume reviews. At this time of the day, I like to review the day and, of course, the scent and the memories I associate with it. In this case with AdG Profumo, one of my first companions on my olfactory journey.

As a young man fresh after graduating from high school and in the midst of training, one is then but a little more concerned with a serious appearance. For me, of course, always included a clean and neat smell. Since I spent a lot of time on Youtube and started my research there, I met the great Jeremy pretty quickly. To date he has only convinced me of 2 scents, once this one and then Light Blue Intense. Anyway, the 40ml bottle soon ended up in my possession and I was particularly taken with the famous Incense note from the description. Now I started wearing it and wondered quite quickly how this supposed "Beast" could only seem so toothless. The incense carries the durability of this fragrance of course even further than his ancient "father" in white, but for my nose hardly over the entire Atbeittag. Now it was slowly getting fuller around the one bottle and my nose continued to develop, my opinion of the scent sinking a bit more as a result. I just got the feeling that others were doing a better job of what Profumo was trying to do. I smelled the saltiness better elsewhere, the incense too and most importantly the longevity fell by the wayside. I understand the appeal of this fragrance and therefore do not want to tear it apart, but everyone should keep in mind that with such a fragrance the journey only begins and this wonderful world of fragrances has much more to offer

Light Blue Intense in Niche
I know it's tiresome comparing perfumes to other perfumes, but for me Dolce & Gabbana's light blue juice has always been a benchmark for summer because of its lasting freshness and good durability. Now this year I wanted to focus fully on non-perfume, because my choice of designers now ranges from freezing winter to high-heat summer, it's now time to get more active in this area and while I'm already wonderfully equipped in the winter area with Herod and Baraonda I'm still missing a real summer banger and that's when Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Moss caught my eye. Partly via Youtube and partly via forums. I didn't notice it when I first tested it, but upon further wear I immediately noticed that it has a comparable scent cloud to its designer counterparts, only in a much more natural and less masuklin. The slight fruitiness of the lemon comes through better here, making it smell less artificial and will probably soon make my Light Blue Intense obsolete. It really does smell fantastically fresh, the sage is beautifully incorporated and the moss just works wonderfully with the aquatic notes.

Absolute summer recommendation

No top 3 candidate in the vanilla range
I was really excited about one of the supposedly best vanilla perfumes currently on the market. The sample came quickly and I could hardly wait to have a candidate for the next winter in my hands, unfortunately, I must determine after repeated testing that it reminds me of exactly one thing. A higher quality version of Sweet Smoke, the "Tobacco Vanilla" clone of Alexandria. I've since worn both side by side on one wrist each and compared them over and over and I definitely smell the qualitative difference, but beyond that, they're almost identical. It's just less synthetic

Shower gel for the fat wallet
Can not understand the price of the fragrance. Percival is my first fresh fragrance from PdM, which I was allowed to test here thanks to a nice user. I wanted to see if the experts of the Winter-Niche Compliment Getter can also make something fresh and I'm quite honest: Yep. Percival is far from a bad perfume, but if we are honest, it is not worth the price between 150-210 euros depending on the sale and shop. It smells like so many other shower gel scents and contains nothing that makes it unique to me. Buy Fierce or Montblanc Legend, apply it a little heavier if the longevity is too bad and it barely makes a difference to Percival in the first few tests I did with it. Bummer.
