If only one knew when?
You could give it the label "Duftbäumchen", but that would be a bit mean and would not do justice to the naturalness that the individual notes here. Therefore, I say times: forest gourmand.
The fragrance takes a long time to come to rest. Possibly this is intentional, but you can recognize in it, if you want, the living of the forest, which has just not only a single character, a single smell, if you stay in it. Over a needle-mossy base note, this Margiela presents itself sometimes fresh, sometimes dark, sometimes sweet. "Soul of the Forest" is representative of a fragrance family you don't often encounter. If you want to stand out, you may grab it here. Personally, it smells too much "only" of forest; in the way that e.g. Tom Ford's Oud Wood smells too much "only" of wood. This has - for me - something of an entertaining gimmick, less of a fragrance for normal situations. A whole bottle of this I would never consume, a small filling for Halloween or for's mushroom picking you can get but.
As I said: beautifully made, also not unpotent fragrance, but hardly usable. Therefore, a point deduction in the rating.

Iced tea hits the spot
I can absolutely agree with the review of Ischgelroi in essence. In this case, Long Island Ice Tea is even more appropriate, because the fragrance has a clearly perceptible "boozy" aroma, at least initially. The top note is a very loud fruit brandy. In it, however, there is also something sweaty, depraved, and yes, quite sexual. In the first quarter of an hour, the name "Bitter Peach" is absolutely accurate. Later, these overtones fade and a somewhat fresher peach remains. If you like gourmand fragrances, you will definitely find what you are looking for here.
Who does not want to smell like food - beware! Personally, I also have the problem that the typical peach aroma for me is one of the rather burdensome, headache notes from the sweet fruit area. Tom Ford has also amplified / "weighted" the peach here so that this is really not for me.
The durability is good, to the sillage I can unfortunately just say nothing. The price-performance ratio (currently 285 EUR for 50 ml in Douglas) is in my opinion very worthy of discussion. For this price range, the fragrance lacks sophistication. Even though the fragrance note list is very long we have here 95% peach, and that is too clumsy for me. However, those who like this fruit will definitely be happy here.

Good fabric softener
This fragrance seems descriptively somewhat difficult to grasp, and also its perception is strongly dependent on the respective sniffer. This can be easily seen in the contributions here, as the range of opinions on the "Dreamer" in my opinion is above average.

And indeed, even with myself and the same bottle, the impression is not always the same. At my very first test (on the forearm) I still thought "Hm, is now actually only lavender". At the second (fragrance cloud in front of face): "Ew, ashtray!". After the third attempt, I smelled marzipan.
I do not know how that came. I hope times, that were not all strokes. ;)

After prolonged use, however, my nose and the scent have freely synchronized, so I can give the following overall assessment:
The herbs indicated in the note list play only an absolute minor role. Differently the initially strong tobacco, but that loses in the drydown quickly in presence and then provides in the background to tame the sweeter and floral notes of the fragrance - in which presumably also the herbs have their share.

Clearly dominant in the "Dreamer" over the entire course of the fragrance is a very soft, soapy aura - where here the one of freshly softened laundry is meant. The fragrance gives me an almost tactile feeling of fluffiness - with a slight sweetness of marzipan (wherever that comes from, probably an effect of mixing amber with some of the herbal notes).
The "Dreamer" is truly a cuddly scent - but rather for one person; it's too innocent for more.

Nachkaufen I will him, although he is actually very nice, but probably not. The fragrance is a little too floral for me for a man, too fluffy for summer, too light for winter and probably stings the tobacco on a lady too much. To find the right wearing opportunity, apart from the cuddle evening at home, is really not easy here, and I think that might even be the main reason why it does not find more distribution. Because bad, so much should be said in conclusion, the "Dreamer" is truly not. Only he stands perhaps too much between all chairs.
