The Dior Homme Intense for beginners
I see Zara Imperial Purple as a simple and affordable introduction to iris perfumes.
At the beginning of my perfume journey, I found Dior Homme Intense too powdery and "make-up-like" for a long time.
Imperial Purple, however, combines iris with a good dose of freshness and is therefore much less complicated to wear on a daily basis than Dior. As a result, I have learned to love the iris note in general over time and have now also taken Dior Homme to my heart!
The downside, however, is the lack of depth and for experienced noses, it could come across as too watered down and simple.
H/S are also absolutely acceptable for such an inexpensive perfume - about 6 hours without overspray.
So, if you want an inexpensive and everyday entry into the world of iris, go for Imperal Purple!
