Flowers dance on clouds, here comes a molecule
Blind buy from Romania.
Influenced by a few perfume accounts, this scent was ordered immediately after the announcement that only 3 bottles were left in stock. (Apparently, there will be no more of this)
Pour toi, a relatively young perfume house from Romania, is characterized by a simple design, a straightforward yet appealing Instagram account, and fragrances that shine with just a few ingredients.
Liquid light, my first scent from Pour Toi, is a molecule-musk-like refined fragrance that never clashes but always makes a good impression. You simply smell very well-groomed, but not like after body lotion, rather like a cloud that carries a bit of musk and a few pleasantly scented flowers. Again, nothing really floral - just flowers.
Great scent and for me a solid 8/10.

Who was first, the egg or the chicken?
That's exactly how I felt here with Aventus or Liebe by Khaltat.

Okay, wow... it smells almost 1:1 like Aventus... just somehow more bergamot. The blackcurrant is missing. And somehow it smells much more intense, also of pineapple... but officially this is missing in "Liebe".
Anyway... if you don’t want to wait forever in the souk for an old batch of Aventus, you should check out "Liebe", or stop by one of the many Khaltat stores on your next visit to Dubai. Great price-performance ratio! Aventus can't compete...
For me, it also lasts significantly longer than the Creed.

Unknown Leather/Tobacco
It was January 2021, Corona was more or less subsiding, but many countries still had travel restrictions with testing requirements upon return, etc.
So I went to Dubai with my wife. There everything was "safe".
The vacation passed, and of course, we had to make a stop at one of the local souks.
We tried various scents blindly, and now and then a spice fragrance flew by. Incredible!
In front of a shop stood an older man who invited us in. Various bottles were tested - everything was good, but wow, this was it. A scent DNA that I had not smelled before. Beautiful tobacco, leathery... a bit of rose... lovely. This is how I want to smell. Of course, I took it home, and I should mention it was relatively inexpensive considering what I think is an amazing H/S.
2.5 years later and I can no longer find this bottle... searched everywhere, but nowhere to be found. Since the beginning of the year, I registered here at Parfumo - yes, I know, much too late, but hey, better late than never!
And then, thanks to the souk, there they were, a few offers for this "lost son".
Today, when the bottle arrived again, the joy was great. But unfortunately, I had to realize with disappointment that it was not comparable to what I remembered. Did someone fill Ombre Leather by TF into this? But why would anyone do that?! This one is much cheaper than that one...
And this is exactly the question I am directing to the community, because here I sit feeling a bit disappointed that I now own an Ombre Leather by Rasasi. Either it's due to a reformulation or I have no idea. In any case, the Ombre Leather is not bad, but I really wished for that unique scent DNA from back then! Maybe someone can enlighten me...
Until then, perhaps the lost son will reappear!

A really great myrrh scent from Armani!

Good for the office, better for a date or for
Black Tie, as I personally think.
Overall, very very pleasing and also potent. Longevity for me is already about 7-8 hours on the skin. On clothes, even 2 days later.
Fortunately, I was able to secure a bottle here over the souk, specifically from Slovakia. Myrrh, uh, I meant amazing!
