Right off the bat, this is my first review. I ask for your understanding :-)

I came to this fragrance because it was a gift to me.
The Vanilla West Indies comes in a simple white packaging with golden lettering. The packaging itself is rather less of an eye-catcher, but kept simple. The bottle is just as unassuming and rather plain. The sprayer is very good and the perfume is quite oily. One should be careful with white clothing to avoid any stains.

I loved this perfume from the very first moment. It is the best vanilla scent I have smelled so far. The focus is clearly on the vanilla. It is not a squeaky sweet sugar vanilla, but a beautiful warm scent note that immediately evokes a warm feeling within. It is a lovely intense vanilla fragrance that is rather deep and dark. I also find it very good that the vanilla is completely in the spotlight and not distracted by other scent components.
The scent has good longevity over several hours and does not lose intensity or fragrance quality. Due to its simple yet good scent complexity, it can be combined with other perfumes. Personally, I find the pure vanilla scent sufficient for me.

In fact, I do not think that the scent is exclusively for women. Since the vanilla does not remind one of sugary water, I believe that men can wear this fragrance just as well as women. I also do not see any tendency towards younger or older individuals, as this scent has such a classic uncomplicated fragrance note. For me, Vanilla West Indies can be worn on any occasion, as it is not too heavy or too sweet.

In conclusion, Vanilla West Indies can be described as a beautiful, warm vanilla scent that is not intrusive or unpleasantly sweet. It is a very mature, clean fragrance that does not become boring or one that you eventually tire of. For anyone who loves vanilla, this is a must-have. Essentially, a vanilla dream.
