When I sprayed this beautiful fragrance, I was not so impressed at first. I was in for a disappointment. As I am a big fan of the THD Edt, I was hoping for something special here.

The opening is fresh and delicately citrusy. Pepper joins in the background. Everything is finely balanced. It smells very natural and freshly groomed. Then came the DD in the running time. I gave the fragrance some time. But when I smelled it again at some point, I could only say WOW. Really great citrusy scent. I smell something green and woody. Great implementation here. Yes, I really like it in the DD. So good that I'm going to get myself a bottle.

The fragrance suits every occasion. Season would be spring, summer fall. I see this fragrance more on a man from mid-30s upwards. It doesn't fit under that. But it's a matter of taste. It radiates calm, contentment and freshness. Not a typical citrusy fragrance.

Like Chanel, I have come to appreciate Guerlain over time. Both brands have their DNA, which is unmistakable. Just like this fragrance. It opens beautifully fresh but you can also smell the creaminess at the beginning due to the almond among others. As it progresses, I would describe it as creamy, sweet, subtly fresh and subtly spicy in the background. Woody at such a time that you can only smell it clearly very late.
The typical Guerlain DNA can also be clearly recognized here. Very pleasant to wear. It's fun to be able to smell this fragrance for a long time.
H/S is fine. Lasts well for a working day, even if it is rather discreet after hours. But you can smell it again and again. Sillage is OK, as with Chanel.
You can use it at any time of year. Is a pleasant companion for the environment.
Great fragrance.

A great fragrance from Chanel. For me, the adult of all the Allure series. It covers everything you could wish for. From citrusy, fresh, subtly spicy to woody. It can make your heart beat faster. When you consider that this beautiful fragrance has been on the market for ages. In my eyes a masterpiece of its time. Rarely have I smelled such a fragrance in the designer sector.

Durability is completely ok. Lasts me a whole working day, sillage is rather discreet. But I think that's a good thing. It is comfortable to wear. Away from all this beastmode, which has become the norm today. I'm glad that there are fragrances that can show the opposite and don't have to hide in any way. It has class.
It has often been mentioned here that it smells old. I can't agree with that. For me, it is classic and can always be worn. Every man/woman should try it out.

I treated myself to this bottle. I think the price is reasonable.

I was curious about this fragrance, as I like Prada best among the designers. A nice souker had sent it to me. Thank you at this point. :)

Now to the fragrance:
Like a little kid on his birthday, I unwrapped the package and sprayed it on the back of my hand. My first impression was ambivalent. I didn't expect it to be like this. But I gave it time to develop. It just smelled fresh. Nothing more. But after a few minutes came the surprise. The powderiness came out more and more. I can also smell slight citrusy odors. It is not a loud fragrance. No, it doesn't have to be. It is very finely composed. Not too strong but not too weak either. Yes, I like it very much.
The fragrance is suitable for every season. It is elegant. And is unisex. A great fragrance.

It is the first of many fragrances from this brand where it convinces me. You have to like floral, powdery and sweet scents. But for me, the first impression was very surprising. Positive, I suppose. It smells very pleasant to me. Not too extreme, but quite well composed. But I like it. It is also very suitable for men. I'll get it for myself if it stays that way over time. It just puts you in a good mood.
