It's about time...
...that Davidoff once again throws something "ingenious" on the market. I must say that I use the orginal Cool Water since my 14th year of life regularly, so for 31 years. That the Intenseversion is different, I knew thanks to successful comments on this platform in advance. That it's great for my taste, I now know since today, because Hermes actually managed to deliver it today, laugh. About the scent: the Cool Water DNA is there for me as a lover of the original, which is probably due to the amber. Unfortunately you have to say goodbye to the triumphant aquatic of the original, but here you have the sillage and longevity again that the "original" had in the beginning before the reformulations. This one is sweeter and fruitier. I don't notice much of the coconut water. For me, amber and green manderine tell the tale. The latter also wants to be special according to a note on the packaging listed in 5 languages. I quote: "Davidoff reinterprets for the first time the freshness of Cool Water with an ethically sourced ingredient: green manderine. The citrus fruit was hand-picked by a community in Val de Cai, Brazil, as part of a sustainable sourcing partnership overseen by the perfumer." Well, that's marketing now, but it doesn't change the fact that this fruit gives this "new" Cool Water that certain something. From the coconut water I perceive only marginally something. I dare to say that Davidoff succeeded in topping the original Cool Water in uniqueness, but lost freshness because of the amber. The latter is not to be misunderstood. Cool Water Intense is fresh, but differently fresh, better fresh, for my genetic taste. I'm about to order another 125ml. I must add that I am grateful that I got 125ml for 30 Euros, but I find it a cheek and at the same time a pity that so little attention is paid to such a fragrance creation. Better you can not make "fruity sweet freshness". Thank you Davidoff, Chapeau!

Unsisex, or not unisex,...
...that is quite a permissible question with this fragrance. Today arrived a 100ml bottle of this for me quite pleasant fragrance. Today at noon applied to the test on the wrist and after done gardening with subsequent shower, the fragrance has survived even that to some extent. Really crass, I sit here, write the comment and perceive the scent after all still. Although greatly reduced by the shower process, but it is still minimally there. As for the scent itself, it's oriental sweet, slightly smoky, fruity and woody with a recognizable floral note. The rose made itself quite apparent after about 10 minutes and takes over as leader among the floral participants, always followed by something fruity. At the same time, woody, smoky nuances keep coming in. The incense, in my opinion, gives it the "oud touch" (I'm guessing an oud incense was used, which I've researched contains oud oil). In my "Riechumfragen" in the circle of acquaintances and relatives, came predominantly statements such as "smells like n old man, but good", "very masculine" to "animal good", from which the question arises to me "unisex, or not?" and I think women should test the fragrance before. Should the floral note predominate with a lady, is yes from person to person differently, he would also go with ladies. In my opinion, it is rather made for men. Test him übrigends should all before, for me this is not a recommendation for a blind purchase. The fragrance has an intrusive nature, requires a good dose of self-confidence and I would rather wear it in the colder season, although the garden session at 21 degrees today, accompanied by this fragrance had quite something. Let's put it this way, I was fine with it, but you do get a bit of an edge when it's warm and the scent is squeezing on top of that. But women wear pants these days, why not wear something sweeter on warmer days? Conclusion: definitely a great fragrance at a ridiculous price. Definitely worth a test

Dolce Vita
Mine since yesterday thanks to Amazon Prime. Ha, rhymes. Attentive to the fragrance I became with some videos of J. Fragrance, which let the fragrance come away very well. The fact that John Varvatos company should be "out of Buisness", read me attention and by many, well-worded, positive comments here, I decided to buy a 125ml copy. Durability is OK, with me on the skin now 7 hours and on textile since yesterday afternoon, today still noticeable.
My personal impression is that the Durft is very very pleasant, spicy sweet, tart floral with a slight citrus touch. Spring, summer yes, but I would wear the personally by the tart note he has in the sweet sense, even in the fall. When I put it on yesterday, an image spontaneously popped into my head of us on our summer vacation in Bolsena, Italy, wearing linen shirts and shorts, white of course (that's the color that also spontaneously comes to mind as a color definition for the scent), strolling through the narrow streets and eyeing the displays in the shop windows. Of course, with a delicious gelato in hand, dolce vita just. I personally can not get enough of the scent and the fact that last year corona-conditioned the summer vacation in the south fell out, makes me love the fragrance even more, because he just fits exactly in such a location and makes me dream of it. Since the definition of top, heart and base notes is missing above in the fragrance description, I supplement that here briefly after I have researched, clear, because rausriechen I would not so per se. ;)
Top notes: lemon, bergamot, tangerine, clementine, thyme, marjoram
Heart notes: petitgrain, ginger
Base notes: woody notes iris root, amber, musk, amber
The perfumer of this fragrance creation is Rodrigo Flores-Roux, who has created among others for Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford and some others, although nix earth-shattering but still. For J. Varvatos as far as I have seen, everything, but with this fragrance here, I claim, he has succeeded in his masterpiece and I have something that makes me dream of the south during Corona time, after all. In this sense, stay's healthy and do not be afraid of a test of this fragrance.

Clone or no clone...
...there's no question here. But I don't give a damn either. For 6.50€ almost free. For that I would have paid 50€. I could spend one bottle per month at that price, but it's not necessary. 3 squirts are enough thick. 5 days ago I stumbled over the company and some of their fragrances at DM. I thought, it won't hurt to try it. Fiddlesticks. That was Scotish from LR. But another subject. Today it was due. Test spatters in the air, mask off, and... leckomio, I thought. I looked at the bottle, it didn't say Dior Sauvage. But it smells like it. Exactly or not, whatever the percentage, I bought 3 bottles, because I thought I would have to reissue it in the morning, at noon and in the evening. Nothing. Today at 18.50 I put it on before going out to eat, but now I still take it at 23.30. Flattened, but it is there. I won't run out that quickly, but that's good. 225ml EdT for not even 20€. Fabulous! There is nothing more to say about the fragrance, everything has already been mentioned here and Sauvage is known as a collector. Perhaps still, who stands on stamps, only the original comes to the shelf. I find it a bit more intrusive than the original, but I like it and that's why it's on my shelf now. 6.50€, I still can not believe it. A brilliant performance by La Rive.

Plenty for little money
To say it in advance, for the price an absolute bang for the buck, not to mention an insider tip. The latter depends of course on one's own taste and personality. Not every scent works the same for everyone as we know. This scent is very interesting for me on the one hand because it smells very spicy and resinous. There is also something leathery about him. Also incense fans do not come here too scarcely. The cedar gives it some freshness or lightness despite its spiciness and weight. All in all, a very compact fragrance with an above-average shelf life and if you look at the price, a bargain if you can get something out of the fragrance. I just say "try it, feel it". Or not...
