Where's the pepper?
I'll try to keep this brief. The opening is shockingly identical to Sauvage - like 99%. But there's somthing missing in there...can you guess what?

Sauvage uses 3 kinds of peper. That's right, 3 kinds. The spiciness in Extreme Story is simply lacking. In here, it's more about the orange-geranium combo, with cardamom giving it some kick. Like I said, the opening is great and you've pretty much got Sauvage for like 30 minutes. But after that, the projection starts to wane pretty fast. Longevity is 6 hours TOPS, with it being a skin scent for the last 4. Shame - but then again, the potency of Sauvage always gave me a headache and this stuff is much more tolerable.

Seriously though, the blend is good and smooth - no complaints there - but the performance just doesn't measure up to the wild beast. Although, looking past the tacky presentation, I think this one still deserves a thumbs up. It trumps Zara's Aromatic Future in both smell and performance and the price is fantastic. Just spray your clothes and you should be good. Too bad it's only 75 mL, because I would love to go nuts on the trigger. TS, I guess.

Great choice for the price
I don’t know how’s the price in other stores or countries for this one, but here it’s like too cheap. 5-6 € for 100ML. Depends on the store you are buying from. I tested it in a local store here and it’s 70-75% copy of Sauvage. Sharp, peppery, synthetic..pretty same vibe as suavage. Only an expert nose will be able to say that it’s not sauvage. Sprayer works exactly as sauvage does.
I know that there are better clones out there but this is the best for me regarding the price/performance.
As I said, I’ve tested it in the store. 1 semi-spray on the hand (because 1 full spray would have been too much). Performance ? I detected the smell even after 5-6 hours, to be honest. And the projection was pretty strong in the first 1,2 hours.
I will buy it for sure, just for fun and for collection. I also need to get my nose on La Rive Brave, which is a clone of invictus by paco rabane. I am sure that I saw that too at the very same range of price.

Overall : 7/10

Very good for its price range
Yesterday I tried Dior - Sauvage at Müller and today La Rive - Extreme Story at dm.
After testing Dior - Sauvage yesterday, I was fascinated by the scent; however, I can't spend that much money on perfume. In search of alternatives, I came across Extreme Story and set out after the many positive reviews and comparisons.

Dior - Sauvage immediately opened a very clear, strong, and well-defined olfactory space upon spraying yesterday, but at the same time, it was very finely decorated. When I sprayed Extreme Story today, I first had the often common biting alcohol smell in my nose that many perfumes have. I was simply disappointed. The scent has a rather undefined sphere. After a few minutes, the story settles down a bit. It remains a really pleasant scent, but it lacks the fullness, strength, and nobility of Dior - Sauvage. After the disappointment, I am now quite satisfied compared to other fragrances in its price range. I will probably buy it. I can't comment on the longevity, but the character of the scent is already noticeably thinner and more superficial, so it will likely be the same with the durability.

All in all, a very good fragrance in its price range, but no comparison to Dior - Sauvage and not better on any level, as it simply does not build the space and potential that a Sauvage has.

Women are flocking after it in droves...
...well, it's not quite like that, but you can expect reactions with this EDT. My girlfriend hasn't jumped on me yet, but the secretary at work is giving me some strange looks.. So it's a damn good EDT. If it weren't for Sauvage, you could easily sell Extreme Story for a three-digit price. And here you have to consider the price. The boxes are sitting dusty at the bottom of the DM shelf for 6 euros. Not every La Rive is a success, but this one plays in a very high league. The first quarter of an hour, I agree with all testers, is a bit overpowering. After that, it settles in very positively. For several hours, you are enveloped in a rather interesting aura. The lavender bursts out of the sweater, you smell like a West package. That's a compliment. That's how a perfume should be. And since the EDT also has a decent sillage, other people can smell it too. You can feel good.
Of course, it doesn't smell exactly like Sauvage. It doesn't have to. The blend is still quite well done. A perfume for 6 euros that smells like this deserves a good rating. Period.
But I also have some criticism. I know this from e-vaping: Not every intense liquid is suitable for all-day use. It's the same with Extreme Story. Since the longevity is quite decent, you have the lavender scent in your nose for a full 6 hours. If you overdo it, it becomes overpowering. Everything smells and tastes like Sauvage. Even the Sauerbraten. You feel like a walking sauna infusion. Like Lavender Man. As an all-day scent, it would annoy me. Since a normal person only has one date per week, it's perfect. You definitely can't go wrong with this EDT.

Surprisingly Much Sauvage for a Very Slim Price
So this will be my first more detailed text here on Parfumo, as the 140 characters for a statement simply aren't enough this time. One thing right off the bat, I am not a seasoned expert who can pinpoint every little nuance in perfumes. Therefore, I will focus more on my personal feelings rather than a deep analysis of each individual scent note.
Now, how did I even come across Extreme Story? In fact, a good friend, from whom I mistakenly (or maybe not? :D) thought I could smell Dior Sauvage, led me to this fragrance. When we started talking about it and he told me that he had bought this Sauvage clone for just 6€ at DM, it was clear where my next destination would be the following day.
I would never have thought to test Extreme Story, as I haven't bought a perfume at drugstores for a while and the basic design of the bottle isn't particularly appealing (it looks cheap, which it is).
But let's get to the scent itself. Unfortunately, the top note is heavily marked by an unpleasant alcohol smell (typical cheap perfume) and reveals little of the spicy fresh note that is present from the very first second in its big brother. However, the truly astonishing thing is that after the alcohol smell fades, Extreme Story comes alarmingly close to Sauvage from the heart note onwards. Unfortunately, the longevity isn't quite as strong, but hey, what can you expect from a fragrance for ~8€/100ml? It does last 5-6 hours on me as well.
Overall, I am amazed at how much performance you get for this extremely low price, even though I must say that Sauvage clearly beats Extreme Story in every category, aside from the price.
I would be willing to spend another 1-2€ if the design and the quality of the bottle were a bit more upscale. When you pull off the cap and have the entire chrome decoration of the bottle in your hand, it simply doesn't do justice to this otherwise really good fragrance.

It's a well managed copy of Dior Sauvage, tried it today at a perfume store: longevity and sillage are thought a question mark,to find out!

Very good, seems a lot a Sauvage, but more sweet.

In direct comparison, G. Bellini Homme Paris is the more intense but less complex Dior Sauvage knock-off. In terms of VFM, I prefer HP.

Piercing, stingy scent. One spray is enough. A mature, classical smell. Reminds me of old men and desinfection liquid in barbershops.

Sauvage but not really. The opening is terrible, after that it becomes acceptable. After 2 hours the spook is over.

It's generally described as close to Sauvage, which I don't like either: Buy Eau Sauvage Eau de Toilette!

It's still cheaper than the top clone "Writer," but you can smell the difference: flatland copy at student prices. It could be better!

Definitely doesn't compare to Sauvage (in every aspect, except for the price, of course). It's incomprehensible that it has a higher rating here.

It really smells wild and rough, like shower gel freshness and cold wind. It's less intense than "Sauvage." I wear it with pride as a lady.

Soapy little Sauvage? No sharp/metallic notes, instead a creamy base
Price-performance: top-notch
For me, it's almost "Another Story" ;)
