The fragrance deserves more attention
I discovered my love of fragrance about 6 months ago and am now happily testing my way through all the brands and scents. However, as I'm not prepared to invest a medium cash sum in my new passion, but still want to smell "delicious", I inevitably ended up at some point at the Arabian fragrance houses. Brands such as Lattafa, Al Haramain, Maison Alhambra etc. are currently very hyped, which has led to a significant increase in price levels. So I looked around away from the hype and ended up with Khadlay and thus with "Shiyaaka Gold". The EdP is available online for around EUR 16 and contains 100 ml of EdP - a good deal in terms of price.

The bottle is heavy ... very heavy and has a somewhat clumsy and unwieldy feel for a women's fragrance - I would have preferred such a bottle for a men's fragrance. No matter - at the end of the day, it's the content that counts and it's really good.

Fruit notes are currently very popular in perfumes and "Shiyaaka Gold" also contains clearly perceptible fruit accords with pear and peach. However, the bergamot and musk in the top note prevent the fragrance from drifting too much in the direction of a "sweet, slightly fermented fruit basket". The floral notes blend harmoniously and pleasantly with the fruity accords.
The jasmine and gardenia also make "Shiyaaka Gold" a rather "classic" women's fragrance - florals in women's perfumes will probably never go out of fashion. Jasmine in particular is more of a heavy, dark flower - but the fruity notes create a beautiful, warm summer fragrance for balmy evenings.

The perfume's Arabian origins are not apparent - it is not an "oriental wumser" but could also come from a renowned designer house.

I can't complain about the sillage and longevity - the fragrance easily lasts a whole working day before quietly fading away after around 8 hours....

I am deeply in love with "Shiyaaka Gold" and don't understand why the brand has received so little attention and love so far. A real insider tip for savers and fragrance lovers.
