Of course, one can have their own opinion about dupes; some like them, while others have no use for them. The original by Bulgari is a great zesty fragrance where Ambroxan and grapefruit are at the forefront. Since I really like Tygar, I was curious to see how Dua interprets this scent! Now to the test, my personal impression is a very dominant grapefruit ginger note in the opening, and at the same time, a considerable dose of Ambroxan quickly joins in, which might be too much for some, but it does mellow out slightly in the dry down. In conclusion, for me, it’s a successful clone with acceptable longevity and sillage.

A dupe that wants to compete with the elite! Perhaps not quite as complex as its expensive brother, there is something lacking in the finesse... But now to the scent itself. The opening is fruity/balsamic/earthy. At first impression, it also somewhat resembles Terre d Hermes. I don't perceive it as fresh. The drydown then becomes almost woody/fruity. Since this is a parfum extract, it is reflected in the sillage and longevity, both of which are very good. Whether this twin is an alternative to A Midsummer Dream, of course, everyone has to decide for themselves.

By now, I am a big fan of Meek Passion, a fantastic scent, the banana at the beginning and the drydown are absolutely top-notch! But now to this one: I find the watermelon consistently very present, which makes this composition very fruity and also a bit watery, perhaps with a hint of aquatic. Indeed, by no means a bad fragrance. Overall, a really nice progression. I would place the H/S at 7-10 hours! Makes me eager to test more from this house. My first comment on a twin from the house of Dua!
Since I was quite enthusiastic about the original and it is questionable whether it will even be released in Germany,
I quickly ordered the twin from overseas. The dupe is, as usual, top-notch and a 1:1 copy of the original. I personally find the scent progression to be 98% identical with a significantly better sillage and longevity (about 7 to 8 hours)! What was unfortunately lacking in the original, Dua has, in my opinion, done 100% right here. Anyone who is also enthusiastic about Sedley should definitely check out this twin.
