Master of Metamorphosis
The scent opens with fresh, almost fruity-citrus like elements from a flamboyant bright bulgarian rose vivified by pink pepper and maybe a hint of aldehydes. This initial radiant headnote then makes way for an addictive vetiver and from this moment on also has some sort of glove-soft leathery feel to it.
The oud used here is very gentle, non barnyardy, smoky or cheesy, it feels like a very soft malaysian/thai, probably due to the combination with sandalwood and balsamic notes.
In the base the scent transformed to a totally different vibe, super creamy, balsamic, warm, golden woody notes that leave my nose glued to my wrist where I applied it. I find it very elegant, relaxing and suitable for all occasions.
