Fresh, classic-meets-modern, easy winner

Dua Fragrances Leedys is inspired by Parfums de Marly Sedley, which I’ve still not tried, but I love Leedys, a fresh, sophisticated mix that meets halfway between designer freshie and niche gentlemanly signature scent, capturing a bit of the best of both concepts. It’s a mix of citruses, with some key spicy and minty elements (geranium, spearmint, rosemary), lavender, vetiver, and woods. It has a good balance of feeling both classic but modern, ever so slightly masculine but still quite pleasantly unisex. Very easy to wear, a four-season scent that leans mostly fresh but still has depth and gravitas, somewhat playful but mostly serious.

This scent is so good - I think I’ll buy the original

First of all, I have to say one thing: I have never really smelled Sedley in detail, just had a chance to sniff it once at Breuninger. However, I have been using Leedys for almost a year now, and I am simply thrilled with this damn good scent. So much so that I want to get the original because it simply has more depth.

The sillage and longevity are well above average for a fresher scent. The coolest thing about this fragrance is that the sillage is so good that even after several hours, you can perceive the scent in waves without having to intentionally waft it towards yourself, etc.

The lemon is very prominent in this fragrance, but it doesn’t sting the nose and doesn’t have any "toilet bowl cleaner" vibes. The woodiness in the background is also noticeable, which makes the scent suitable for winter and cooler summer evenings.

As I said: This perfume from Dua is so good that it makes me very curious about the original because, apart from the H/S that Dua's fragrances always offer, it will probably be even better.

A successful dupe with more longevity

My first comment on a twin from the house of Dua!
Since I was quite enthusiastic about the original and it is questionable whether it will even be released in Germany,
I quickly ordered the twin from overseas. The dupe is, as usual, top-notch and a 1:1 copy of the original. I personally find the scent progression to be 98% identical with a significantly better sillage and longevity (about 7 to 8 hours)! What was unfortunately lacking in the original, Dua has, in my opinion, done 100% right here. Anyone who is also enthusiastic about Sedley should definitely check out this twin.
