Since my favorite fragrance "YSL Manifesto l'elixir" was taken out of the range, I went in search of a new favorite fragrance. I remembered that I once had the EdP variant of the Mon Guerlain. A lavender scent, actually something rare that the scent note lavender, plays the main role. Had also not thought that I will like him, because I associated with lavender always something "old-fashioned".
The lavender is so nicely surrounded by the other fragrance notes, taking away some of the natural "strength". In the Intense version, I smell the mandarin the least, only when I concentrate, although both are given as top notes. Since the lavender is indicated as a top note it is accordingly surprising that the lavender so dominates, to the last smell feel him still, discreetly but there.
To the lavender I smell the sandalwood and patchouli also strongly out.
Now briefly back to the EdP, this seemed too weak to me at the time, the durability is also not so good in comparison. But now I see it more like this: the EdP as a day fragrance and the Intense as an evening fragrance or spring / summer and autumn / winter. The Intense version has been a bit too tart for the warmer days for me.
All in all, it is a very well done fragrance also very special. Feminine, elegant, sweetish, tart, floral ... wonderful combination
The bottle somehow reflects the fragrance. In the Intense, the "little water" is darker as well as the color on the neck and in the EdP, both are lighter and so you can also imagine the fragrance, lighter, lighter....

This is the fragrance my boyfriend has been using for 3-4 years now, we also picked it out together.
What is so nice about this fragrance for me as a woman, is this sweetness, I guess that's because of the tonka bean... Not too fresh (also no soap-as some describe it here), no stinging in the nostrils that you know so sometimes from men's fragrances that go mainly in the aftershave direction. Finally a fragrance that is different from others, mMn. It has something very special for me.
Every time I get in the car, a nice fragrance cloud awaits me, sweet and masculine. Haha :,)
A few times I smelled it on my clothes too, by hugging it, I got the scent off too.
If someone wants a very long-lasting fragrance, which is a designer fragrance, is not too expensive, can access here quietly. You also need only a few sprays, so the bottle also lasts a long time.
Recommendation rather for the evening or in the colder months.
The Intense version is much better for me, the normal EdP I do not like so much.

The fragrance was a gift. Basically it smells not bad, however, there is something inside, some fragrance that I can not identify and makes me nasty headache.
With me he holds very well, perhaps because the fragrance smells penetrating for me...

During that time period when the purchase was made, I didn't know that the fragrance would no longer be sold in stores. Of course, I then always bought it online and now it has also disappeared from the online stores and I am left with only 2-3 sprays ?.....
