King Aventus & his sinister minions (incl. dupe comparison)
A short time ago I already wrote a review of the official dupe of Armaf "Club de Nuit Intense Man (Eau de Parfum) | Armaf". Of course, I knew that Creed Aventus is the original, but had never tested it extensively. One of the Parfumos asked me to test this and also sent me 2 other samples of unofficial dupes with the indication that these are also very close to the original ran (many thanks at this point!). I take this as an opportunity to describe my personal impression of the Ober-Creed and to compare it with its competitors. Note: Since Aventus is for many of you a highly emotional topic (hot love) - I try to describe my impressions as honestly as possible, so as not to bump anyone in the head. Let's Go!

Fragrance (10/10)
How does it feel to wear *Creed Aventus (Batch 2017)*?
- The fragrance DNA is simply unique fruity and at the same time masculine even for me newcomer. Erwin Creed has really created a masterpiece here. For me, the fragrance smells like fresh fruit (predominantly pineapple / sweet grapefruit). Compared to its peers, the individual components blend much better together, it smells altogether more natural and high-quality and the opening is a grenade. You just feel good!

When do I wear *Creed Aventus* most like?
- Mainly in summer to autumn - no matter what time of day. For winter, I personally lack the warmth through, for example, a stronger vanilla, tobacco or other spices - here I choose dear Spicebomb Extreme.

SILLAGE (7/10) DURABILITY (7/10):
- The sillage as well as the longevity is I think good in this batch, but not exceptional, but this is probably due to the natural ingredients, which are supposed to last less long than synthetic ones. In a perfume of this price range, however, should be more in it (no matter how), because otherwise I have to spray on more, so that I can be perceived by others.

FLAKON (6/10)
- Durchschnttlich. From the outside you can not really guess whatch fruitiness slumbers inside. Here I would have preferred a darker liquid or a more colorful bottle. Black and white is somehow loveless.

PRICE / PERFORMANCE (6/10)
- Of course ingredients I smell out and these cost now more money. In relation to dupes, but from the customer's point of view bring a similar benefit, the price is too high for me, so I either a) just get a bottling or b) a dupe with similar DNA.
--------------
COMPARISON TEST - AVENTUS DUPES:
Armaf - "Club de Nuit Intense Man (Eau de Parfum) | Armaf" (Fragrance: 8/10 -- Sillage: 9/10 -- Lasting: 9/10)
Very strong *acidic* grapefruit opening, which takes some getting used to but isn't really bothersome (to me). After about 30 minutes very smoother fragrance, which is very much like Aventus and round. The sillage and durability is the strongest in the comparison test. The Dauerläufer!

Al Haramain - "L'Aventure | Al Haramain / الحرمين" (Fragrance: 9/10 -- Sillage: 7/10 -- Durability: 8/10)
The fragrance is very close to Aventus. Where the CNMI weakens, namely in the opening, this smells very natural and is strongly balanced in the transitions. The sillage is similar to Aventus. The durability on my skin even longer perceptible. TOP!

Rasasi - "Rumz Al Rasasi 9325 pour Lui | Rasasi" (Fragrance: 6/10 -- Sillage: 6/10 -- Durability: 5/10)
Opening very synthetic for me and disharmonious. Here I find even the CDN clearly more coherent. Although the CNMI is initially very strong, but the fragrance molecules have already found each other. With the Zebra, the scent molecules still seem to dance lapaloma. The sillage as well as durability were, at least on my skin, also not convincing.

Divain 228 Dupe (Fragrance: 8/10 -- Sillage 7/10 -- 5/10)
Divain is a Spanish company that officially specializes in dupes. Before the CDN of Armaf, this was my first contact ever with the Aventus DNA. The opening really surprised me in comparison, because it has a smoother opeining, than the CNMI and is the smokiest of all candidates. With all the others, including Aventus, I perceive the smoke more as a dry, green tea note. With the Divain, it is smoke and less fruity for me. Similar sillage as Aventus, but significantly worse durability.

CONCLUSION:
The original is and remains the fragrance king and is recommended to all who are looking for perfection and who are willing to pay many times more for the remaining 10-20% more quality (Batch 2017). All others will find with "L'Aventure | Al Haramain / الحرمين" as well as "Club de Nuit Intense Man (Eau de Parfum) | Armaf" in the EDP version! very favorable alternatives and even better durability.

P.S.: Was tested in each case paralell with Aventus and another dupe directly on the skin over a longer test course, in order to be able to meet also really a comparison to the fragrance change, sillage and durability. Of course, I do not exclude that one or the other fragrance can behave differently on your skin.

Raspberry with detergent vibe
This was one of the first fragrances I got this year as an office scent.

Fragrance:
How does it feel to wear *Montblanc Individuel*?
- Like wearing fabric softener (probably the lavender) with a skyberry aroma. It also has a synthetic undertone to my nose. It doesn't have any particular association with a particular moment for me - it's just a clean scent. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't notice the comparison to Joop Homme at all. The latter is much stronger and smells for me strongly of sour cherry and not synthetic raspberry.

When do I prefer to wear *Montblanc Individuel*?
- Preferably at daytime and in the office. However, only rarely, since I own Prada Lhomme and this the Usecase *Saubermann* with its luxury iris note still clearly better done.

How does this fragrance differentiate itself from other soap/fresh laundry/office fragrances I've smelled so far?
- Dior Homme Intense: in addition to the soap smell also wood and vanilla (rather with date character)
- Prada L'Homme: Clearly Luxurioser Iris fragrance, which is for me another league.
- Prada L'Homme Intense: for me rather the upgrade to a date fragrance, because here the vanilla is very prominent.
- Prada Amber pour homme: also very soapy and for me the number 2 soap, which also smells luxurious.

SILLAGE/ DURABILITY:
- The sillage is I think good, but also not beast fashion.
- The durability is very good, both on the skin and on the clothes, where I notice the fragrance even the next day.

FLAKON:
- Very high quality and masculine-masculine by the combination of the white Juice, light glass with the jet black (leather?) sheath.

PRICE / PERFORMANCE:
- The 75ml variant I bought for just under 25€. Price / performance is really good.

CONCLUSION:
For all those who have a narrow wallet and want to have a solid Wäschetrocker fragrance for the office. However, who invests about 50 € more, gets with Prada L'homme the No. 1 for the office and will certainly soon receive a promotion for the top smell:-)

The teenager summer melon
This fragrance was given to me by my wife a few years ago because she liked it.

Fragrance (7.5):
How do you feel when you wear "First Instinct Man (Eau de Toilette) | Abercrombie & Fitch"?
- The fragrance has melon as a top note - somehow I feel like I'm 18 and transported back to a beach party. He is simply fresh-fruity and resembles for me at least in the opening to Montblancs Legend Spirit (grapefruit).

When do I wear "First Instinct Man (Eau de Toilette) | Abercrombie & Fitch" most like?
- In the summer from 20-30 degrees and in my spare time and when I want to feel young.

How can you compare "First Instinct Man (Eau de Toilette) | Abercrombie & Fitch" with other summer fragrances?
"Artisan Pure | John Varvatos" : also super fresh, but much more citrusy - for me from 30 degrees and white clothes
"Versace Man Eau Fraîche (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" : more of a pool scent and somehow even more all-rounder, because fresher.
"Legend Spirit | Montblanc": Opening very similar, but in the course much sweeter and more towards Hubba-Bubba.

SILLAGE / DURABILITY (6 / 6):
- The sillage is I think ok.
- The durability is good on my skin / clothes 4-6 hours.

FLAKON (6):
- Nice, but average.

PRICE / PERFORMANCE (6):
- The 100ml variant I bought at the time for 45 euros. Price performance is ok.

CONCLUSION:
For all those looking for a fruity teenager fragrance for the summer certainly ok. A fragrance that is cheaper and can also be used well for sports is from "Legend Spirit | Montblanc" . As a general summer fragrance recommendation also for older people I would recommend "Versace Man Eau Fraîche (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" and directly from the refrigerator.

P.S.: Curious now? Then just talk to me about bottlings of "First Instinct Man (Eau de Toilette) | Abercrombie & Fitch", "Legend Spirit | Montblanc" & "Artisan Pure | John Varvatos". Gladly I give you also a few more tips!

Grandma's delicious apple strudel
After I have already worn some Hugo Boss fragrances in my youth and I already knew the original version, I have now struck with a hefty discount on the Intense version. And what can I say - full success"

Fragrance:
How do you feel when you wear *Hugo Boss - Intense*?
- The fragrance smells for me very much like grandma's apple strudel, but with rather tart apples, which I like very much. Here is also the main difference from the normal original, which smells more like sweet apples.
- In addition, the scent is really more intense and smells a little like wood. The scent progression is linear for me.

When do I wear *Hugo Boss - Intense* best?
- In the office and in the spare time - he is for me a real Feelgood fragrance and does not tick - but is probably also not a compliment magnet and pleasing. Wear this rather Daytime and like in spring and autumn. Winter he is certainly in the Office well wearable, however, I prefer there rather spicier vanilla-tobacco fragrances such as Spicebomb-Extreme.

How does *Hugo Boss - Intense* with other strong, fruity perfumes?
- Hugo Boss - Bottled: Boss Intense for me winner, because projects and durability stronger and fragrance generally woodier.
- Armaf - Club de Nuit - Intense EDP: Balanced - both fulfill for me the same usecase for office and leisure. If necessary, I would wear the Club de Nuit also in the summer.

SILLAGE/ DURABILITY:
- The sillage is good.
- The durability is very good on my skin.

FLAcon:
- The 100ml bottle is simple and beautiful - the dark yellow Juice looks original like apple juice - from therefore 100% suitable.

PRICE / PERFORMANCE:
- The 100ml variant I bought at the time for 40 euros - for an EDP in this quality top!

CONCLUSION:
Top wood-apple scent, which does not clash and therefore fits very well for the office!

The blue shower gel miracle
In search of a Dior Sauvage Dupe, I came across the Writer from Yves de Sistelle. This costs only a fraction and is considered by many fans as THE dupe.

Fragrance:
How do you feel when you wear "Writer | Yves de Sistelle"?
- Like freshly showered with a gel of the brand Adidas. So very sporty fresh and masculine. While the shower gel is gone after 30 min, the Writer is great to extend this fresh feeling significantly. In addition, I feel very masculine, which is probably due to the Ambroxin?

When do I wear *Writer* most like?
- In my spare time and when I can not decide between the fragrances in my collection. The Writer goes actually always. Generally, I wear this except in midsummer always and also like morning to evening and all occasions. Here he is very similar to his original in the diversity.

How to compare *Writer* with other fresh all-round fragrances?
- Dior - "Sauvage (Eau de Toilette) | Dior" : I do not own, but the opening etc. is very very similar and the feeling what Sauvage conveys (shower gel) is very similar. Have heard Sauvage is even more peppery.
- Giorgi Armani - "Acqua di Giò Profumo (Parfum) | Giorgio Armani" : The Armani is also a mega all-rounder, which I by the incense and the more complex DNA comes across rather classic and I would recommend for older, in addition, the Profumo develops a certain sweetness after time. The Writer seems more modern for me - perhaps because shower gel is now in?

SILLAGE / DURABILITY:
- The sillage is ausgezeichnet and projects very well.
- The durability is also very long on my skin and clothes - about >8 hrs.

FLAKON:
- Very heavy and metallic! Cap below with a set off Writer emblem looks very classy. In addition, the glass like its model has a gradient and becomes darker from bottom to top. Smooth 10!

PRICE / PERFORMANCE:
- The 100ml variant I have purchased for just under 20 €.

CONCLUSION:
No-brainer for all who like modern shower gel fragrances. The fragrance is so pleasing that even my two kids rate this from a collection of >15 fragrances as the best. For the price a must-have and blind buy!
