effortless sophistication in a bottle
i have to admit that when i first tried narciso by NR, i was like, “uh oh...too screechy!” - so, i scrubbed it off immediately. so unfair of me, right? what i needed to do was to give more time to this gem of a fragrance.
so, i gave it another try, and it was BEAUTIFUL. while narciso starts off super punchy with the rose, for about 20-30 minutes in (on my skin), it melts into this soft & fuzzy musk with creamy gardenias. there’s also a woodiness from the cedar, which adds a modern edge.
because of it's multifaceted vibe, i can see narciso being worn by an effortlessly cool human, who's walking around a flower market on a chilly fall day, wearing the softest and coziest oversized cashmere sweater, a pair of vintage levi’s and leather sneakers in white, OR by a sophisticated baddie in a silk robe, who starts their morning off by spreading La Mer on their toast, while sipping a mimosa…that’s in a crystal goblet…this human's probably a virgo too.

a lovely ode to tuberose
what a gorgeous fragrance. it's like taking a super luxurious, creamy, and frothy bath in a cedar wood tub, where tuberose, gardenia, and jasmine petals float on top of the water. the vanilla and whipped cream in love tuberose are done in a sophisticated yet carefree way as well, making it a versatile perfume to be worn on chilly days in the spring, fall, and winter.

white floral eleganza
vert malachite is the epitome of the phrase: "OPULENCE. YOU OWN EVERYTHING! Everything is yours!"
the white florals along with the combination of the other notes in vert malachite are feminine, strong yet still have a wonderful elegance to them. i can see this being the perfect luxurious wedding day or special occasion perfume. however, on my skin, the floral notes become REALLY heady, where i'm stuck in an ultra thick cloud that my sensitive self can't escape from.
i think i'd like this better if the florals were toned down a bit and the creamy vanilla was amped a little. still, vert malachite is a beautiful and classy fragrance, so, if opulent and bold white florals are your thing, you may love this one.
