Actually, I did not want to run after a hype fragrance more, properly hooked, the fall is too violent. Usually you screw the expectations so high that you can only be disappointed. But of course I liked the bottle very much and the fragrance pyramid also spoke to me. So the fragrance came on the watch list but I did not actively chase him.

I was just exchanging scents with dear perfumer @Duygu when she offered to send me your last two sprays of Angels Share. Well, now I do not say no.

The fragrance mail arrived and I unwrapped 3-4 samples. I ripped the cap off the tester and held my nose directly to the atomizer. Mmmhhh yes, oh yesaaaaahhhh , meeeehhhhrrrr. That's a good one, that could be mine. But please let's not do it too fast. Let's take it slow, take our time to get to know each other better. It's not like we have a lot of options. Two sprays max.

Lovingly, I rewrap the good piece and set him aside. For a special moment.
Friday was finally the day. I had it all planned out. A new season of a favorite show is starting so the timing was fixed. Housework done, dog walked. Now only extensively shower and cream and then we both nice cuddle together on the couch. Naaa well, my husband was now also still there.

Waking up, crumpled with my eyes closed I struggle out of bed. Oh, I had sooo sweet dreams and now already again the harsh reality in the mirror - In the middle of your face. Almost like remote control my wrist wanders to my nose. Nonsense, it can't be. But a touch of cognac and vanilla toka cream very close to the skin, delicate and beautiful.

So from trial sniff to purchase, not 24 hours. More I do not have to say actually. Love at first smell.

The scent is very sweet-gourmand and boozy-smelly. You have to like that already. Especially cinnamon tones in between violently and projects neatly. The durability is really above average. Today I sprayed the fragrance times on my husband. He likes the very much on me but on himself he does not like it - is too sweet for him. On him the cognac came through even more and the oak barrel was fantastic too. I like the scent on him too. But so it is better for me - I do not have to share him (hihihi).

I don't need to say much about the bottle, very nice, glass on the bottom, plastic on top. Atomizer is ok - not as awesome as Penhaligon's. Umkarton also rather normal.

When do I wear it. A fragrance for the evening, go away, meet with friends in the favorite bar, go out to dinner. To just have fun, to make my husband happy and Tuesday he comes with me to the office. There the fragrance and the colleagues must now times through. Are only a few on site;-) Soon it will definitely be too warm for this fragrance. I would say as of today, a late autumn-winter fragrance.

So, then I can actually sign off Perfumo, holy grail is found, shock infatuated is a hook on it. Task fulfilled.

But nooo, is much too beautiful here and besides, woman needs several grails. One for the winter, spring, transition - one to the green jacket, etc. So you must unfortunately still read one or the other comment - or read over;-)

Hello gentle reader (no, I'm not Lady Whistleblower - for all Netflixfans;-)),

while browsing on Parfumo I became aware of the beautiful pictures of @Parfümlein. I particularly liked the mood in the pictures. Then I realized that the pictured animal head is yes the lid of the bottle. What kind of perfume is that? Aha - Changing Constance! There's no such thing, it's got my name on it. I'll just have to test it. A look at the fragrance pyramid: Salted caramel - yes there simma thereby, that will prieehiemaaa!
No sooner said than done, immediately ordered sample and awaited with high voltage to snatch it directly from the postman (yes, I was even faster than my dog).

But then, I did not dare to spray at all, turned the tester always just in my hand. What if I do not like it? Carefully I sniffed the little spray button - mmh ok kind of spicy. I was a bit afraid that the cardamom comes to me funny, because in the kitchen I do not like the stuff at all.

What is it, what are you here for, after all, to test and try. So go on up now with the precious liquid. Yaaahhhhh, it's lovely - sweet, spicy, unusual. I love it!

Flowing, caramel settles on my skin like liquid gold. Balsamic reigns the four spice allspice and lets pepper, cinnamon , nutmeg and clove dance. Everything lies down on soft cashmere. Now and then a touch of salt adds a note to not get boring and the cardamom together with the allspice makes Constance a delicious gingerbread speciality.
In the drydown all the way you against the skin I detect a chocolate note or is that just the chocolate withdrawal for weeks...
I recognize myself in it. Sometimes I peek out, out of my gingerbread house and have everyone eating at me. Then I'm back to being cuddly as cashmere and caring and healing as caramel. Pepper in my butt, who doesn't have that. Sometimes I do things that are definitely not always good for me. Constance has your tobacco. Even though I gave up smoking many years ago, I find a soft tobacco scent quite pleasant.

My pre-commenter DonJuanDeCat has already extensively discussed the brand, the story behind the fragrance and the bottle. To this I can only add something: The bottle is a real hand-flatterer, it is very good in the hand, is heavy and valuable. The lid is also heavy of very good quality. The perfume color is perfectly chosen. But the best, really people, is the spray head. As if an angel wraps you in heavenly molecules.

Yeah right, the longevity and sillage leave a lot to be desired. He holds on me only about 5 hours.

Why I wanted to have this Gouriental or do they say Gourmontal (Gourmand and Oriental) anyway? I love this fragrance and find it special. It already has my name on it so ...My husband loves this fragrance and that means what, most fragrances he finds just ok. I like the story behind the scent, think the bottle is great. By the not so strong sillage I can wear the fragrance in everyday life and office, I like that then especially well and I just spray after a few hours again to the end of work or put on another fragrance;-).
Also, I was lucky, my dear husband gave it to me...he did a good online deal. I'm going to go out on a limb and say my fall/winter signature and I would probably repurchase it again.

If you prefer it stronger, right on the 12 and with more smoke, strong sillage and durability, you might want to try Replica by the Fireplace. Here, too, sugary notes are combined with spices and smoke. However, rather a concept fragrance - still super interesting.

Who likes the fragrance direction in general and likes to have something fruity with it - the can Lira by Xerjoff under the nose.

The fragrance came as a suggestion displayed at the dealer. Honestly, I found the bottle not exactly appealing, but more about that later. However, I found the name exciting and treated me to a look at the fragrance pyramid. I love coconut and vanilla. Sorry, I'm really simple-minded.
So he came as a filling still with in the order.

Fragrance is there and was immediately applied to paper and wrist. I close my eyes and immediately have a nice holiday feeling. I think of tropical nights in Thailand and Bali. A soft vanilla dances on my skin and blends with silky coconut milk. Then there's a very brief menage a troi with the caramel. The haunting doesn't last long and the scent gets more serious. What's coming through? Tobacco? Leather? Wood? It reminds me very much of a cigar homidur. It smells like cedar and blond tobacco. A fine, delicate, soft, light tobacco. Is this perhaps the Peru balsam? I don't know that one and I'll just put it down to that. In any case, it gives the scent a super twist, a bit of a tartness. This also makes it so unisex in my eyes (my nose). This is a family scent, really everyone can wear it. Husband, wife, aunt, uncle, sister, brother, brother-in-law ....

When would I wear it? Since I just had it on, he first came along to the shopping. After that was the Sunday dinner at in-laws announced. He did well there.
I imagine how I wear him to the 80th birthday of my dad. We sit comfortably together and leaf through the photo book, what we have given him and talk about the good old days. About the racetrack, about horses, about the pictures where he is still with a cigar. We think about the mom who is no longer with us and rejoice in his new family and 2nd wife.
Maybe we will take a walk in the autumn forest together with the dog.
In the evening I sit with my husband comfortably together. We both wear this fragrance and let the evening end with a good book or a game of chess. Should I play on "Queen's Gambit" ...? (I found the series on Netflix great and the fragrance also reminds me a bit of it).

Verdict: A warm scent with a buttery soft vanilla and light coconut milk, a bright warm tobacco note (nothing smoky, cold or anything). This combines with cedar and sandalwood. A round cozy leisure scent.
I'm not entirely sure about the vanilla. I like it a lot. It is exactly the kind of vanilla I am looking for. I'm also just a layman. In my nose, it's not a YSL or Guerlain vanilla - it's softer, rounder, and doesn't perfom quite as long. I'm sure a lot of people won't like it that much. So always test first nice;-).

Criticism: The durability is indeed not so dolle. After about three hours you can already like to put something. Maybe you can here with a Molecule fragrance (Molecule 01 or JhaG Not a Parfum) something layer and increase the shelf life. An orange note (tangerine, mango maybe orange) I could also imagine well to it. For this I will also experiment again something.

Back to the bottle. Maybe not beautiful but still very practical. The pharmacy bottle protects, thanks to the dark glass, the contents from sunlight.

The brand: Maison Tahité has emerged from a project / fragrance workshop. The first line from it refers to gourmondige fragrances with the raw material vanilla. In addition, the brand has written sustainability on the flag. This is reflected in the packaging, which is made of recycled cardboard. The labels are made from almond shells and a vegetable-based adhesive is used. Apparently, each package also comes with a small planting card. This can be used to raise a flower/plant.

At least this fragrance made it onto my wishlist. No firecracker but something cozy, familiar can not hurt the fragrance wardrobe.

It's Friday afternoon and the view out the home office window looks bleak. But wait, there's a streak of yellow on the horizon. Oh yes, the post bus is turning into our neighborhood. The first rattles off all the side streets, so still ne hour concentrated work and then comes the next filling delivered to the house.

Finally I have the vial in hand and spray carefully on my wrist. Puuuuhhhh, hairspray, powder and maybe some incense? Oh my, I don't think that's mine. The comment with the grandma, the handbag, the handkerchief and also the statement from the dear Friesian with the hint of vaudeville and opera comes to my mind. So roll down sweater and wait to see if anything develops. If there's one thing I've learned in the last few weeks, it's that you shouldn't reject everything straight away. Some scents need time. Sometimes I also need some time to understand the fragrance.

After about half an hour, I perceive a beautiful heliotrope, very clearly, finely vanilla and with a touch of freshness. The powder tone remains, but steps for a moment times a little more in the background. Ylang ylang I can perceive a bit and tonka is also there now. A clean musk closes the heart. The powder notes stay until the end and even turn up a bit again. Then it goes a little quieter into the base.

I clean up the apartment and start cooking. The powder scent keeps getting up my nose and I feel good. What does it remind me of (other than powder and Schmincke, of course)?
Soon my husband comes home, am curious what he says about it. There is a - "yes, not bad" from him.

Quietly it begins to snow, we get ready for the evening walk and I spray again. It's a dreamy atmosphere, the snow is fresh and powdery, not so slushy. It's still quietly trickling and we can even walk the big loop across the field. Through the snow everything is a little brighter and here and there it glitters enchanted. Again and again a light flair of Teint de Neige blows around my cool nose. Yes, it is a fragrance for cold days. For winter walks in the powder snow it is even the perfect fragrance.

Even when we come back the scent is still in our apartment. A great sillage.

I can confirm the comment of Duftsucht 1:1. Exactly it behaves with me also.

The next morning I apply the fragrance again. Practice makes perfect. My husband says: "slowly I really get used to it. What does it remind me of?" Once we figure that out, I'll add to the commentary.

This is a great scent, a pludgy powdery sweetener alla Pompadour. Intense and lingering, it captures you. And yet it offers something clean and innocent and familiar and comforting. It carries you and wants to be carried. It wants to be shown. The Snow Queen would wear him to the Winter Ball. He wants to be noticed and talked about.

A scent that definitely doesn't please everyone and not always right away but that's what makes it exciting, even if the overall scent progression is quite linear. I am curious whether there are reactions to this fragrance when I wear it. The sillage should give it that despite mask duty one or the other should perceive him in the office.

Slowly, day by day I fall in love with this fragrance. First I thought only, ok the 8ml filling may stay and it is certainly enough forever. Maybe but just maybe the fragrance creeps but still on my wish list.

I'm waiting again for new fragrance samples and to bridge the infinite time I look through my collected fragrance samples. Nothing special, only what you normally get thrown in the perfumery mostly behind. Therefore, I also look through the men's samples, whether there is something hidden for me. Unfortunately no, unfortunately not at all...

To torture me further I look at fragrance reviews on YouTube. Since I've already sifted through most of them, I'm now looking at men's perfume recommendations and come across Gil Aroma. High quality videos and dry humor. In one video he briefly mentions L'Homme Idéal and there I find the description already appealing. In another video he describes it again. I'm totally curious about the cherry-almond variant. Didn't I see something from Guerlain Idéal earlier when I was looking through the men's samples? That would be a coincidence. I run to the samples and bingo, there is the darling. So immediately sprayed on paper. Ok a little cough syrupy but there is clearly also something cherry recognizable. During the day I check the sample again and again and like the scent. So the must be tried on the living object.
When my husband comes home, I'm already ready with the sample. He already knows the procedure and artfully rolls up his sleeve and holds out his arm to me. I spray and he walks away. I run after him. And, and???!!!! He sniffs his arm. Yeah, smells pretty good.
Now you must know that this is for my husband schone a special award. Harvest I but usually only a "is ok". "I want to smell too" I call and grab his arm. Mmmmmmhhhh oh yes - cherry - cinnamon - almond - vanilla simply heavenly leckerrrrrrr.
From the intensity and spiciness (especially cinnamon) and vanilla it reminds me of the Spicebomb by Victor & Rolf Extreme.
However, the scent quickly becomes more subtle and whenever my subject walks past me, I perceive a light and delicious custard with cherries scent. I melt away.
1-2 hours later we enjoy our end of the day on the couch. I snuggle into his arm in a way that I can sniff his arm with my nose.

For me, the absolute Netflix couch cuddle scent. Goes of course also in front of the fireplace well to play chess (Sagt yes no one, that it can not also be about stripping chess). Nevertheless, rather the quiet seducer, the cuddly, the tender.

The next day I miss my treasure and the beautiful cuddly scent. There is still the paper sample and it actually still smells super good. On the living object, the scent has not kept allzugange, it became very quickly very skin and soft. This is my only point of criticism.

This is so delicious, oh what the heck, I just spray on myself. I do not like to wear men's fragrances and usually I strike already with unisex...

How I perceive him on me: First comes again this cough syrup note, but quickly follows the Amaretto chord of almond, tonka and vanilla and actually it is more Amaretto with me and I perceive the cherry not so extreme. Now the incense is already wafting towards me, making it a bit more pungent (this is usually the case with me and men's perfumes). But it passes quickly and I perceive a leather smell (I didn't notice it at all yesterday), dark brown leather even, very nice.
After about 3 hours, the scent is then also on me skin, it remains a vanilla almond milk with some suede.

So, now I can unfortunately no longer continue writing, must research on the net, where there is a good deal for the Guerlain L'Homme Idéal.
