Reflection Man is one of my absolute favorites. With him the journey of the perfumes has taken up the journey with me. That first time smelled as a young teenager strolling downtown and immediately fallen in love.
Unfortunately, I didn't remember the name of that fragrance back then. Sad but true.
And so I stayed searching for a few years.
5 years and about 80 bottles later I rediscovered him. The price of 230€ was a lot of ash for me as an apprentice who doesn't live at home any more, but the passion convinced me in the end.
Meanwhile I also own a vintage version of Reflection Men so I can easily compare The Run Way with both versions.
The top note is awesome. Personally, I can see absolutely no difference. 10/10 points
The Drydown differs then nevertheless quite easily from the original. Reflection Man has more of a wood/ metallic undertone to the flowery-sweet main chord, while The Run Way has more of a Gün/wooden background. Without direct comparison, however, one will hardly notice any differences. 9/10
In the base, Reflection Man becomes more and more woods and loses sweet. The Run Way, on the other hand, remains floral-sweet until the end and thus differs far from less in the base in comparison to the heart note than it is the case with Reflection Man
Durability is slightly better than the current version but about 1-1.5 std weaker than the Vintage Reflection Man.
Sillage is quite decent at the level of the vintage version. The current one can't keep up in this respect.

What actually makes a good clone?
1. As strong a resemblance as possible to the original...check!
2. Equally strong to better performance ....check!
3. Cheaper check! ( 55€/60ml)
4. For me, the most important thing is to invoke the same emotion...and damn yes he can!

First of all, I do not know Herod and can therefore unfortunately not draw any comparison as to the extent to which this is a good copy. Actually not soooo the big fan of vanilla in men's perfumes, but here I was (again) taught a better lesson. Absolute masculinity already comes towards me directly after the application.
This is probably due to the strong cinnamon note mixed with the tobacco and apple, even if the latter note is not listed here, I could bet that at least in the top note a little apple is represented ;)

Shelf life is very good, but I only apply the fragrance on clothes, on the skin there is a strong discrepancy compared to clothes regarding shelf life. Sillage is the first 3 hours quite enormously afterwards a little closer to the skin, but even after 8 hours a small fragrance cloud comes up every now and then, very pleasant!
Reactions were without exception(!) positive to very positive my better half called this here not unjustly as cuddly scent ;)
Of the 7 rehearsals I have tried of Alexandria Fragrances so far this one is my favorite just before Royal Equestrian and The Run Way.
60ml bottle is already ordered and I think this will not be the last, I admit I have fallen in love a little :)

Very good copy of PdM Layton. The top note differs a bit, but in a good way I personally think the top note of Layton needs getting used to ;) The durability is enormous even after 3! Days still on clothes in approx. 15 cm distance perceptibly similarly strongly as with Dior Homme perfume, dot at Royal Equestrian. Sillage also above average with Layton absolute at eye level, point division.
Last but not least, the price. I think I don't have to make a big comparison to that everyone will know who's ahead ;)
All in one a top clone with stronger performance and lower price...what do you want more ?
On the subject of compliments: I ordered a 7 Sample Pack Royal Equestrian(Layton), A private Man (CH men Prive),Arabian Horse(Herod),Apple Crump(Oajan),The Irish Gentlemen( GIT,Cool water),The Run Way(Reflection Men) and Hawaii Volcano(Creed VIW).
I asked several friends and relatives which one of them is their favorite, here in order of places:
1.Royal Equestrian
2.Arabian Horse/The Run Way
3.Hawaii Volcano/The Irish Gentlemen
4.Apple Crumb/ A Private Man
From my side absolute purchase recommendation even if I would recommend to order a Sample Pack first ;) The 60ml version of Royal Equestrian and Arabian Horse I ordered right after testing The Run way and Hawaii Valcano will follow ;)

First of all, I'd like to say a few words about Parfumo. Without this page I would probably never have found the perfume passion I now have. We have a class community, which in the age of anonymity on the Internet unfortunately becomes more and more an exception and no matter who has what taste, or what opinion he/she expresses about a fragrance, everyone treats everyone absolutely respectfully. Class!

Whenever I look around here, I find a new interesting fragrance, which I probably would never have heard of otherwise, like this one.
Cheap for 23€ on the Internet ordered, I did not know yet that I have finally found it...My fragrance!
Right after the first smell, I got an association with the scent... the palmolive shaving cream that my father has been using since I can remember and I totally associate this scent with him.
Admittedly, if you make a direct comparison, you will notice differences, but the basic tenor is the same: fresh green, very male, with a typical Barbershop note.
It's just perfect for me! What might still be interesting, I am 22, this fragrance is said to be intended for 40+. So far I had ONLY positive feedback. But what you should already have is a certain maturity or appearance, because this fragrance radiates a lot of masculinity.
Wearable both casually with blue jeans with lumberjack shirt, and formally with suit absolutely fitting.

Of the shelf life for a fresh fragrance very neatly compare approximately with Acqua di gio profumo.
Sillage also in the upper area. For example, last week my girlfriend said to me, although she left the house 45 minutes after me, the whole stairwell still smelled wonderfully of me and my perfume. Note that I had already applied about 5 sprayers about three quarters of an hour before I left the house, so hat off!
I can recommend "Bogart" to anyone who likes masculine fougere like scents like "Fougere Royal" or "Rive Gauche", or someone who has a penchant for freshness, light green or citrus scents with a woody/mossy base a la "Eau Sauvage" or "Polo"

I found the right one for me now. My signature scent !
Maybe the memory of my father drove me to it, I don't know.
I hope that one day when I have children, they will associate me with this smell and the same associations will come up with smelling about their father as they do with me, A rock in the surf that is always by my side and supports me at all ups and downs in my life

"Jacques bogart" is probably one of the most common
Name you get to hear when
you are looking for a fragrance with extraordinary performance.
For a long time I had the one or other smell of this house on my note, so it was time to get my first "Bogarts".
Silver scent reminds right at the beginning of a merger of Original Santal and Nikos Sculpture.
Fruity and flowery sweet is so peppered in your face from the very first moment that you can almost be glad that Douglas and Co don't have it in their assortment...to protect the employees of course,
because as much as I like this smell, having a customer every 10 minutes who pops this smell on the test tires is really too much of a good thing. And there is also the real problem of this fragrance. I get consistently positive feedback from my fellow human beings when I wear Silver scent, but after a certain time, the violent sillage gets on your nerves so much that more or less a certain nausea spreads. However, this is less due to the smell itself, even if it becomes very synthetic after a certain time, but rather to the persistent and persistent penetrance over hours.
Shelf life on clothing loose 4 days
on the skin 16std plus.

Small tip: do not spray in the neck or head area, but rather on the trousers etc. apply. Thus one avoids the penetrating self-perception of the smell :)
