..... where to start?
Best why I bought the fragrance.
Have recently once again, as it had been used up for some time, bought my beloved for decades "Polo Green" by Mr. Lauren. Scarce 70 euros. That is for me at least a lot of money.
Unpacked immediately and sprayed on. Yes, the scent was there---- BUT there was something missing...
Later I also noticed the low durability - also that all the performance is gone.
It built up instead of joy, strong frustration!
Can only join the review at the Polo Green of "Peking2021" in All.
The fragrance is gone, speak, probably broken reformulated and anything but the great "stinker" as I like to title these fragrances so affectionately, which was a faithful companion to me for decades before.
Especially the good durability is completely gone for me. Hardly more than 2 hours of fragrance pleasure!
And that for the high purchase price?
No, no more with me. That was my last original Polo Green for the high purchase price!!!

So what to do?
I've been looking for fragrance twins. Just no expensive fragrance, if this then also a flop.
So I came to Dorall from. Had to date no fragrance of this Belgium-based company.
At this point I would like to note that there are or were several dupes of the Polo Green at this company.

Whew, that's a lot, I know.
Therefore, I ordered the Mustang over "the bay". Scarce 14€ with postage from "here"
the order of "Putting Green" from Poland was then nevertheless too uncertain for me.... .-) .-)

Of course, the specialists among you will turn up their noses.
Freely according to the motto: so a cheap dupe comes me not in the house. Is anyway only "fragrance fusel".
But who does not test, which can (may!) not be or condemn, right?
So is at least my motto for years!

After applying, I was actually slightly startled at first. It smelled ehr sharp.
Mmmmh - so nothing???
You can not say that (s) so. Please, the Dorall costs in the trade often no 5 euros!
Is therefore 14 times cheaper than the original!
What can I still expect for it?
That my claim is settled ehr below, certainly needs no debate.
With the original I expect for 70 euros EVERYTHING!
At Dorall for under 5 euros - the equivalent of a croissant ice cream at the Italian - the scent works for it!

You should (must!) Give the dupe some time. Only a few minutes, then this sharpness is gone and it actually comes the familiar scent of the Polo Green!
In addition, I have for direct comparison the ORIGINAL!
Of course, the expert noses -.) among you will smell out more differences, I'm sure.
What also I erschnupperte, is that the unique spice of the original is not present.
But the overall impression is yet ehr GOOD!
So why should I spend 14 times, if I can have the same effect?
Since as I said, the original has been so messed up and is no longer THE Polo, which I knew.
The durability is just as bad with the Dorall. The flacon is well made for the small purchase money.
Conclusion:
For 5 euros one makes / woman nothing wrong.
One / woman puts also hardly claim with a Currywust with fries at the snack bar around the corner.
At the Nobelrestaurant for a meal around the 70 euros without dessert, may have one / woman claim!!!

Of course, I will not acquire the Dorall again.
Continue to search for a viable replacement for Polo Green, which above all holds again and is a beloved "stinker"!

On the net, by the way, there are companies that offered the "Classic Green" for 5€, but can not deliver.
Therefore, I suspect, it is changed at Dorall again and comes out as "XYZ" or so . .-)

It seems to me that I am always the one who gives a voice to such a jewel here. Although, Cella is a name on the shaving forums! And what a guy. The Italian company has been around since 1899!
Their shaving soap can only be described as ingenious. I can't put it any other way. - What's it like there?
When barbershops were the places to enjoy moments of pleasure and well-being, when Cella opened in the heart of Milan and became the reference point for the world of Italian shaving. This traditional Italian shaving soap has been around since 1899 and is still produced in Italy. In the 50's and 60's Cella's radio gingles were famous and just like then, Cella's Felice is still smiling on the packaging today.

As a self-confessed "shaving man" I have been choosing Cella as one of my shaving soap favourites for a long time now.
And in addition to that, in order to no longer bore you with shaving soap, there is a "suitable" AS.
Simple, practical, GOOD!
Price? Unfortunately also so one often as "cheap" disreputable AS- Now please do not click further....!
There's no need to turn up your nose. Cheap? Yes! Cheap product - by no means!
The price says nothing about the quality of a product. Cheap does not (always) mean: good for nothing.
After all, how many really good AS are often sold off these days? Just often the old proven.
I would like to mention as a representative:
CHH-Tobacco After Shave - Pitralon classic - Alpa - or the classic Speik is often offered at a reasonable price.
All excellent AS with very good care properties!
Because that is what I am looking for from or with an AS. Especially with wet shaving, the skin afterwards, at least mine, is always very irritated and expects a good, this soothing lotion.
This is exactly what Cella AS does perfectly.
The fragrance is slightly sweet and spicy.
Ehr unobtrusive and therefore suitable for putting on an EdT of choice after a short time.
The AS does not burn - of course depending on the sensation and skin type.
The clear glass flacon is rectangular, so it lies well in the user's hand and is a pouring flacon.
The liquid has a subtle light brownish shimmer. A simple sticker that tells us:
Lozione Dopobarba After Shave Lotion
with the famous shaving "grandpa"... . oh, simply well done, without frills, to be recommended all around, especially (also) for nostalgic people like me at AS.

Cella! I "like" you... .-) .-)

And this Proraso scent has never been appreciated by anyone?

Just take the shaving soap, a dream in terms of fragrance but above all in the foam result.
In shaving forums, as already mentioned, one speaks Proraso almost already "holy".
The maintenance products and barber supplies are countless, all of which really deserve the predicate Excellent.

With "Wood &Spice" one has now acquired a cologne whose fragrance has knocked me down.
I may point out, though: Somewhere I have already sniffed out this combination of fragrances - the experts here in the forum would surely know which one I could mean when testing the fragrance - unfortunately I can't figure it out. Wonderfully warm, I'd describe the first impression. Woody, spicy, sweet, that's certainly true.
I didn't use the scent after shaving. It's hung up later. So whether it can also be used as an AS is beyond my knowledge. I prefer to use the Proraso-AS-Balm. (just to be on the safe side .-) )
Because nothing is more unpleasant to me than to irritate the stressed skin additionally after the wet shave.
The shave serves me the relaxation, is to me never (annoying) duty but always already "free skate" .
For a cologne it has an enormous stamina. With me about 6 hours.
I like the smell that wood of any kind, just freshly processed, emits. Wood is for me a "living being" that gives us humans so much! Too bad we often just burn it. But what can be made of wood and with wood not everything. Our life is inconceivable without the raw material wood.
I don't just like working with wood privately.
And this woody, warm, slightly sweet scent accompanies me with this cologne (almost) the whole day.
Something previously applied to the wrist and one involuntarily sniffs again and again at the site,
At least I do.
In the statements a "cheap note" or too much of vanilla is mentioned. This is subjective sensation.
I can't confirm these statements!

Once again the good reputation of Proraso is confirmed for my feelings.

PS - If you don't like the fragrance "Wood & Spice" - there are many others to choose from.

Extro - Never heard of before.
But as a shaving man who has let the same become a great passion, at least that's what the lady of the house says -.) - i'm always looking for new innovations.
There the attentive man comes across the Italians again and again.
Yeah, yeah, they can do the "scented chick."

Now I have "blindly" ordered two fragrances from the extensive series of "Extro" from a well-known domestic shipping company specializing in Italian products.
1 x "Arzachera" an EdT & AS and this one here, a pure AS, with the sensational title "Pirata".
But don't worry! After opening the bottle, no bottle spirit comes out in the form of an evil pirate with a typical eye patch and grappling hooks.
No ship is boarded and the sword is swung. On the contrary, everything goes quite peacefully and honestly sugar-sweet from statten.
In the short description of the fragrance on the website of the seller, I noticed too fleetingly something with "old hairdresser" - but it is probably meant, the fragrance was (should have been) used by old hairdressers...
I wouldn't know how to interpret what an "old" hairdresser smells.

The fragrance comes in a round bottle with 125ml content.
Grippy, full-handed - I like that in the early morning, that the "Pranke" also has something to touch. .-)
It lies well in the hand with it and is, which I very much welcome, a Schütt-Flakon!
There you can "fill" the hand like I love it after shaving and "clap" the scent into the face -

The scent is spicy-sweet to me. By proportions of cinnamon, patchouli and sandalwood it is honest sweetish, has something,
how shall I put it, at the beginning of a chewing gum scent. The red balls that we used to love to pull out of the vending machines as children for a penny.
Of course after school, when chewing was still forbidden in class... .-)
What else was there? Oh, yeah, the "old" hairdresser?
Yes, it is reminiscent of what is often referred to today as the "Barber fragrance".
Later, the slightly spicy woody note comes through without completely losing the sweetness that lasts longer for an AS.
For me a blind buy but no bad buy!
Gladly I will take in the course of the time the one or other Extro smell in eyes and nose light....
It is simply worth it that the man deals with extro, because even in price really not overpriced.
Who likes it so honestly sweetly, but does not sweeten with good spice, that is well served with "Pirata".

I don't want to write long novels about this Pinaud. I'm sure a short essay will do.

Pinaud - the name says it all. For some time now, shaving men have been associated with euphony and "feeling good" after shaving. He's been on my shaving schedule for at least decades. And here as "must have"! Because this fragrance with the beautiful name "Whiskey Woods" is an aftershave or mother tongue correct aftershave.
By the way, I bought both relatively new Pinauds for myself. So also the Brandy Spice. Since the announcement in the subscribed newsletter of Clubman/Pinaud both AS were on my wish list. To order this in the USA nevertheless quite inexpensive AS is not worthwhile simply any more nowadays. The postage, the often long transport time and if possible still the tiresome way to the customs office - I prefer to leave that.

Here in the country with a shave dealer ordered, costs per bottle around 13€ for at least 177ml content! They are delivered in the now obligatory slightly square plastic bottle - I am allowed to write. That's how almost all Pinauds are packaged. It is also practical, not only for the transport route. In the course of time I have already knocked over flacons, sometimes slipped a bit or during other actions in the bathroom like tidying up: "bums" landed with a bang the flacon on the tiles to damage them or even burst them themselves. So also when falling into the sink, how fast is the good ceramic glaze there and "mistress" gives me another solid "after shave"... the beautiful bottle breaks, oh somebody - that can't happen with the Pinaud bottles. In addition, they are handy and lightweight, as they can be held in the hand as a bulk bottle.
So if you value beautiful flacons, you're wrong here. It's all about practicing.
I like the scent of Whiskey Woods more than Brandy Spice. The latter actually has a typical brandy smell in my nose for a long time. With "Whiskey Woods" I feel the scent more sweet and harmonious. Ehr with light sweetness and spicy round. Yes, a light, very soft whiskey note is to be guessed but Woods? I think it refers here to the years of maturation of real whiskey in wooden barrels. At least I didn't smell any wood. Also the otherwise always very entertaining durability of the Pinauds appeared to me longer with Whiskey Woods. But that's no way to win a race. After 2 hours only perceptible by direct sniffing on the skin. I hope that both, as usual with Pinaud, have an excellent care property without shaving fire and certainly do not need to be mentioned.

Conclusion: The clear favourite for me is "Whiskey Woods". In the future it will have a regular place in my Pinaud collection. Please, gentlemen! Don't let that deter you from buying the other scent. This judgment, my "judgment", is purely subjective. Everyone feels scents differently! Fragrances behave differently on every skin. Those of you who prefer a good brandy are well served with "Brandy/Spice". The easiest thing in my eyes is: Buy both - you can't do anything wrong.
