My first Creed flacon - A blind purchase I did not regret
Usually I have a hard time with fresh scents. Especially with the citric kind I often have an association with Mr. Proper Citrus-fresh. I don't know why I ordered the Creed Green Irish Tweed blindly for 160 Euro. Normally I test scents before I click the order button. But this chic black bottle, the praise on the English channels on YouTube and above all the beautiful comments and statements have led me to order the large version so that I can hold the black bottle in my hands. Oh yes, the nice photo of TomDuft has certainly also contributed to it.
Yesterday the order reached me by express delivery, because I could hardly wait to hold the perfume in my hands. And then I was greeted by a white cardboard box with a high-quality finish, on which Millesime was written. Then I was afraid to hold the transparent bottle in my hands, despite the 120ml version. The package was opened on the top and the black lid greeted me. Not like the cork notch on the picture above, but completely black. Looks very chic and noble and as soon as I have found a suitable location, I will take a picture of it.

Sprayed on and directly this green fresh note reached me, of which the other comments also write. The inspiration with the meadows and the rough sea is also in my head. Very nice and round, comfortable to wear, but also rather discreet, I think. The fragrance doesn't scream, but rather lies quietly under your nose at certain intervals and you get a slight grin on your face and think: Yes, the fragrance is definitely worth its money. But in view of the price, I'm not quite as convinced of the durability. It lasts about 6 hours during the hot day. At the GIT I have the feeling to be standing on a meadow with trees in close proximity. In between a light breeze of the salty rough sea. Without ever having been to Ireland, I imagine it the same way there on the island. But I see Green Irish Tweed rather on a well dressed man, even if he can be worn in a normal Otto outfit. The drydown is simply divine. All of a sudden it seems rather peppery and sharp, although with the fragrances listed here I don't know from which component it could come. I like it!

With the scent you get a short holiday home. Definitely worth a test if you want to smell pleasantly fresh during hot temperatures.

Sunshine, Cocktails and Suncreme in a Bottle
Preface:
Some time ago I had already mentioned in a statement that I like Sunshine Man very much after I received a small sample from our user Greenie07 with another order. Many thanks again for that! Now my better half wanted to have a list from me, which fragrances I would like to have the most, on which Sunshine Man was ranked first so shortly before summer. Last sunday the time had come and I held a heavy cardboard box, wrapped in wrapping paper in my hand. After I freed it from its wrapping, this light blue wrapping shone a big printed sun on me. Very high quality workmanship and the packaging already has the usual opulent Amouage quality with its print, which gives this coastal feeling. For me unfortunately very difficult to describe. Contrary to the other Amouage's this box is however differently conceived and is opened lying down from above, which I found somewhat unfortunate, since I like to see you standing on your pedestal in the glass cabinet, which is not possible for me with this kind. But enough of the gibberish and let's get to the scent.

Description of fragrance:
This perfume is very untypical for Amouage. It begins very sweet-alcoholic, reminiscent of cocktails, which is probably due to the orange brandy note. No frankincense, no oud, no strong spices that you would normally expect from the perfumery in Oman. But on the other hand, it is as strong as ever and radiates an aura that can be smelled at a distance of 2-3 meters with a light gust of wind. I have ice cream (Ed v. Schleck?) and sunscreen in front of my eyes as soon as I have the scent in my nose. I can't make out a big fragrance development in Sunshine Man, but he radiates this creamy cocktail/ice note for 6-8 hours, until I was surprised that he couldn't hide his origin towards the end and still becomes slightly spicy. But that's just a short snapshot before it disappears. Sunshine Man is also more likely to be worn in a casual casual outfit instead of a suit. Who likes Herod, or is not averse to sweet perfumes in general, will surely also like the SM.
Yesterday I then dared to experiment and let my girlfriend test the scent on her before we drove into town, as I didn't have a moment where I thought it would be misplaced on a woman. With the statements of some ladies, I had enough arguments that she has no doubts anymore ;-) And we were not disappointed. I first noticed how brute the scent is. The charisma is really enormous. Apparently she not only really likes it on me, but has now also discovered it for herself, where she normally doesn't touch men's fragrances. So I have to put my bottle in a safe place first. :-)

Finally, I would like to thank Greenie07 and her for adding the bottle to my collection. Because of its sweetness (and its price...) it's certainly not something for every day, but it deserves its place.
I'm gonna go have another cocktail on my skin. Cheers and enjoy the summer!
