Surprisingly pleasant sillage experienced...
... in our group, I was unexpectedly touched by a pleasantly flowery sillage at the last dance meeting, the movement next to each other may have contributed to this, but I had become curious. What could it be? As a freek, I searched my scent memory... and couldn't figure it out. Well, maybe I just don't know the scent yet....egal, distracted, forgotten....but a while later I heard the light floral scent again - bright, friendly and clear, comparable to a nice triangle sound. What could that be? Should I know it? There is something really fine about it ....but I didn't want to ask right away. I would figure it out. At home, I sniffed through the suspected candidates...but nope... all far too subtle.
The closest was Splendor by Elizabeth Arden, but it wasn't, because...three days later the person in question asked me about it. I then took this opportunity to inquire. I couldn't have been more surprised! Is that real? How can such a chemical "cheap cheapy" from the bottom of the Dorogerier shelf deliver such a sillage? Intrigued, I bought myself this "experience" and can now say the following: the sillage is and remains truly amazing, the fragrance pleasant, the longevity acceptable. Of course, one should not expect an elegant show, progression and character edge here. Nevertheless, "spirit of golden blush" is a "synthetically fixed" Cheapy fragrance that is nevertheless a blessing. For fragrance students, for example, who want to get really "stewed" without risking negative comments! or, for...? find out!

elegantly tart fragrance that gives me a boost..
...he is feminine with a profile; feminine without being sweet.
Not romantic, flowery, creamy, certainly not arbitrary. Oh, no! Cabochard has feminine strength. Without Eros, please. That is also a feminine strength, but in everyday life it is often enough about getting by without it. Cabochard emphasizes all the other, the "masculine" sides of a woman that she needs to survive: Confidence, clarity, the ability to make decisions. But not in any way, please, but with style and elegance. Simply feminine!
If a man occasionally shows battle sweat, torn shirt buttons and shaggy hair in the heat of everyday battle, you turn a blind eye. In a man, this is an expression of maximum commitment to victory.
But the same with a woman..., poof, a well-groomed image is at risk. Simply because of deeply internalized role models. These have a stronger effect than we realize. Unyielding and hot-tempered assertiveness are simply against the sweet side of a woman. A woman's competence alone is not enough to "safely" assert her positive, feminine image. She also needs the greatest composure and at the same time effortless elegance, beauty and well-groomedness to succeed.

And what supports this confident impression? Through fragrance, of course. It supports the image as well as the self-confidence and thus one's own strength. But what would be a suitable fragrance for this purpose? Creamy EDTs and flower meadows are less helpful here. If you want to be taken seriously, you simply can't smell like a cloud of powder or a freshly bathed baby.
My choice here is Cabochard! My invisible companion and comrade-in-arms who helps me to feel my strength and remain steadfast.
Cabochard is a fragrance that makes you strong if you are a woman and don't want to allow yourself any weaknesses. Whether it would come across really well on a man remains to be seen. I am very grateful for the modern dissolution of the stereotypical division into women's and men's fragrances, but please don't let it become cramped where it doesn't make sense.
Others have already provided good and detailed information about the fragrance. I just wanted to tell you how and where Cabochard helps me.

early coinage
As a teenager in the late 70s, it was "the most beautiful fragrance in the world" for me. All the fragrances I had known before were as fascinating as they were inappropriate-serious-adult. But then came MyMelodie and it was inspiringly "entertaining" (Serenissima quote). It was almost dancing, lively, cheerful, flowery-romantic, without the adult seriousness we had previously sniffed at. If it seemed to us as young things at the time that MyMelodie was not a great work of fragrance art (again quoting Serenissima), it was because this fragrance was within our reach and not a "sinfully expensive ladies' bottle".
Back then, quality and price were much more closely linked than they are today. It seemed like a miracle to me that this somehow didn't apply to MyMelodie, because this "most beautiful" fragrance in the world was at least within our reach if we spent "all our pocket money". So it became the first perfume that I secretly declared to be "my" fragrance and which I noticeably missed when it disappeared.
A good 40 years later, I realize in retrospect how much it influenced me. Inspired by parfumo, I remember. Looked repeatedly in the souk. No trace of it there, but on Ebay. But in the niche fragrance price range. That's why I went on strike at first, but after a while the nostalgia horse started to ride me again (instead of the other way around, räusper). I accidentally won the auction for five times the price, so to speak, and I wondered if it would be worth it. As it turned out, yes, because I paid for the knowledge of an early coinage!

The bottle (as pictured), comes with almost full contents. A small but sufficient amount on the back of the hand becomes a time machine. However, not quite as far back as expected. Instead of a teenager, I wake up in a slightly later stage of my life! How so? The nose knows immediately: MyMelodie appears almost identical to "Nina Ricci's Fleurs de Fleur", which stepped into the gap years later. I wasn't even aware of this because I had suppressed the existence of the gap at the time. I just always wondered why I liked Fleur de Fleurs so much. Ah, you just live forwards and only understand backwards!
Of course, this impression requires a direct wrist comparison, which confirms the incredible similarity in character and color. Both are "full-bloodedly colorful" in a similar way. The slight difference: MyMelodie is a little sunnier and creamier and Fleur de Fleurs is soapier and pinker, but the difference is really only a hint due to the direct comparison. Two lush, colorful, gorgeous big flower bouquets, absolutely equal: colorful, clear, bright as day, honest, sunny, pure. MyMelodie lasts forever (even after 8 hours, the base is still on the skin, although the bouquet blossoms a little later than Fleur de Fleurs. There, however, the sillage is somewhat higher and the "bouquet" already glows and blooms in the top note.

What I regret is that all these findings are of little use, because both are vintage fragrances. Treasures for occasional use. As a fragrance lover, however, I don't really want to collect them so much as use them! I want to be able to spray generously and buy more! It's a real shame that the modern fragrance industry behaves as if the wheel hadn't been invented yet. After all, good music is always played as the same music and enjoyed again!
But maybe someone will discover the gap in the market and set up a company where you can have vintage original fragrances recreated and use them liberally!

Aroma "therapy
A fragrance arrives in the mail. Thankfully, she does not know that it is a transformer, a kind of "beamer", because while she is still waiting for the alcohol to dry off after spraying, it has already happened. Instantly, and yet as glidingly smooth as in an elevator, she lands directly in her own heart, where, amazed, her individual parts are put back together. It overwhelms her so quickly that tears well up unbidden. Bypassing any kind of defense, it came quite directly and deeply inside without her being able to prevent it. An extremely touching fragrance like inner coming home.

Memory ? Maybe ! but of what? ... she does not come on it, but apparently she knows the scent. No matter from where, she knows him just. Without knowing whether an olfactory similarity exists, appears in front of her inner eye the dark blue flacon of "Soir de Paris", which adorned the dressing table of the beloved aunt when she was a child of four or five.

Apres l ondee, in any case, had the effect of an unexpected embrace of a very loved one who was eternally absent or perhaps already no longer lives on earth. A fragrance like a returned part of herself, lost without being noticed. What an unexpected turn of events: Apres l ondee actually breaks this part back. This and everything that such a complex powdery fragrance stands for: security, comforting tenderness, gentle smiles, re-blooming joy, a quietly beautiful melody...everything that life gives a child unconditionally without reciprocation.

To grow up means to "grow" to lose these gifts. And then to find them again. Whereby "Apres l ondee" can help. For me, it is less a perfume that you wear to decorate yourself with it but rather "aromatherapy". Even if the industrial perfume production does not pursue therapeutic aspects, of course. Nevertheless. Here already in the name "after the shower" shows the artistic vision (which I hardly noticed before testing) while in the fragrance a masterful implementation touches emotionally deep. Apres l ondee embalms, comforts and actually brings back joy and devotion to life, after the thunderstorms and storms of life have faded away but still little courage for new things there.
Hopefully there is for each of you at the appropriate hour "the" perfume that hits directly and deeply into the heart and makes you "whole" again.

The "unbearable lightness of being"....

The film title would be a successful description for Twilly, because it is a "windy-fresh-synthetic loveliness". Twilly is not someone who earns the venerable melon conventional but someone who plays with it. ( just like in the movie).
The most amazing thing about this fragrance is its "cool lightness". In the literal sense of a kind of "wind chord", even if that is something else. The most familiar thing about it is the "delicate-flowery sweetness"-a soft rosy sweetness, as in other perfumes and cosmetics, almond-milk body lotions, laundry perfumes, face creams, etc...The smell is not at all disturbing, quite pleasant "airy-soft, soft and flowery". He awakens but no associations with noble perfume from renowned house but only to the cooling scent breath when applying any body lotion.
Thanks to the bottling of member Vikimiki is now clear how much the "floral-spicy" classification but steered me into error. The expected peasant garden full of flowers and herbs does not exist here. But well understandable are the secondary classifications "fresh, sweet and creamy". Fresh in the sense of airy-cool.

Ginger there in the top note so briefly that you could overlook it. After 60 sec. immediately takes over a typical "modern delicately fresh sweetness", which reminds me very much of cosmetics. This also shows up predominantly in the heart note, here a touch creamier and rosier. But even with this, Twilly does not get an adult-spicy profile but remains in a childlike "airy-lovely limbo". A fragrance like a carefree teenager hanging upside down on the playground climbing frame.
Twilly is "light-footed-untouchable-airy-lovely-zahrt". Anyway, the opposite of "concrete and clear". Only a trace, a hint of ginger spiciness pulls through as this particular airiness, but far from "spicy".
Twilly is also not concretely floral of "rose tulip carnation...", but perhaps one could say "Lovely", because it shows a delicate sweet character.
Only in the base comes a little warmth. If you will "spice", and even here the Twillytypische "windy-sweetness" is still well noticeable.
Seen for me: Twilly to test was nice, Twilly to buy unnecessary.
