Comfy Stable
This open with a beautiful airy green straw scent. The greens and grapefruit at the top help it stay crisp and fresh, dewy like a morning after rain.
Shortly after, it settles into the smell of freshy yet dusty hay. Although a Wisent is a bovine this really reminds me of the smell of being around horses. When I was younger I was enrolled in some horse riding classes because, the area I live in has a huge culture of horses and racing. This scent reminds me of that time, the scent of stables and specifically the hay that the horses would eat.
As the freshness wears away once again we step even closer to the animal, the muskiness comes through along with the hay. This is not a horse after a race, it is not full of adrenaline and steaming with heat, it is relaxed, lounging. When you close to a horse like this you are reminded that although they are strong, steadfast and hardy, horses they are above all gentle creatures and this scent reminds me of the feeling of being comfortable in their presence.

I have no doubt that a Wisent has a similar feeling if I were to stand near one.

Doe, a deer, a female deer
My initial impression is green, fresh and musky. So far the most designer-esque of the Wolf Brothers lineup that I tried, I think it is due to the tobacco and pistachio notes since they make the texture a little bit creamy and rounded.

As it develops the hay becomes the most prominent note. There is a barn like quality to the hay, however with the green notes its more of a freshly cut/ refreshing hay like you would associate with hay bales in springtime. Not an animalic barn like you find with real oud.

Fresh, nutty and vegetal green. Has a bit of a delicate touch, more feminine leaning in my opinion. Smells like having a picnic in a field during the spring, can not shake an association with Julie Andrew from sound of music.

Gritty Green Leather
This smells like a good balance between an old leather jacket and a car air freshener, smells very natural and has loads of personality.

Due to personal preference I have always steered clear of leather and apple notes which is exactly what this opens with. However the apple is not too sweet or juicy and the leather did not smell like shoes which are my most common gripes with these notes. I'm pleasantly surprised!

The animalic touch is present but not overpowering. Its a dirty leather aided by woody notes, with a fresh spicy touch from the apple and citric pine (coniferous woods). Much more wearable than I had expected. I could see myself not needing to apologise to people if I wore this out, unlike Goat by the same brand.

If I was to describe this in brief I would say a nicely kept hunters cabin.

An ode to the wild hillside.
This is the most untamed frag ive tried, I've intentionally avoided animalics because its not a profile that appeals to me but was interested enough in the brand and want to keep an open mind.

Goat is so unapologetic that I have to respect it. Although unpleasant, this does not come off as edgy or for the purpose of shock value. It is just faithfully encapsulating the essence of what a goat calls home. As if we (humans) are not the target audience for this fragrance, so that's why I find it off-putting.

True to the name, this smells like a goat. I expected it to be inspired by a goat but this goes all in at the opening. It smells like fur and the mushroom/truffle and milk accord really remind me of sheep droppings, with its earthy and sour lactonic quality.

As it dries, it mellows out, gets a little less dirty and gets a bit more cozy? It reminds me of hiking with the image of the mountain streams as the sun beating down. It's thick and humid, there are green wild florals underneath the leathery notes but they are faint.
The path you walk is not an established trail, like you'd find when going to a national park, it's wild and you are in the goats territory. This smells like their domain and you are merely visiting.

To conclude I think this is fascinating, I love how vividly this makes me think of the wild hillsides and mountains.
A scent for goats, as much as one inspired by them.

Must have been the wind
As every other review here has eluded to, there is something almost supernatural about this offering from our Swedish friends in Stora Skuggan. I might be somewhat influenced into thinking this by reading other reviews first but I digress.

Mispouffer has this eerie apparition like quality due to the soft smoke accord that envelops the fragrance like a spectral fog. Along with the coniferous woods and foliage, the fog paints a picture of a misty lakeside on a dull cloudy day. With a nearby campfire that has since gone out. It feels mysterious and lonely but as if you know that you are not alone. It reminds me of the area of Velen from the Witcher 3 for some reason, I think its the association of forests, lakes and ghosts.

In my opinion the most evocative fragrance from the line, truly unique and the only one I'd like a full bottle of eventually. The most interesting use of smoke in a perfume as it does not remind me of burning or incense, and I think its the bergamot that almost gives this aquatic quality. Its clear that this is amazingly well blended potion.
Mysterious, captivating but not too loud just how I like my artsy blends to be.
This does not scream ''look at me'', but adds just enough intrigue with its delicate projection.
More like a ''what was that'', like a spectre... or a leshy.
