Oh rose, thou art sick.
This fragrance is an incredibly pleasant surprise. I read the reviews thinking it would be supremely feminine and 80s woman-like, but this is very modern. And criminally underrated.
Opening: You are hit by a mouthful of bittersweet peppers, cherry and a very leathery/bitter saffron, it's very unique. The cherry accord is super boozy. Only is there to add a juicy sourness to the mix, not much in the way of sweetness.
Middle: There is no denying that Roses, are the star of this fragrance. The Rose note here is not very floral or medicinal like the fragrances of old, it is very jammy and almost fruity. There's a bit of amber, but that is only there to sweeten the very bitter/sour cherry and saffron that lingers throughout the whole fragrance.
Drydown: The drydown is again an exercise in balancing the striking opening, almost chocolatey, quite sweet. also gives a full body to the rest of the fragrance.
Conclusion: It's a bitter cherry, rose and leather fragrance. Very unique, it's so bitter it even leans masculine. Definitely signature scent worthy.
Should you ask for "TF Lost cherry without the sweetness" or a masculine version of "Bvlgari Rose Goldea", this fragrance is perfect for you.

Very weird opening, beautiful fragrance.
When buying a bottle of Sculpture Parfum, i was able to get this for free. So i muttered to myself "Wow, a free fragrance? why not." and put this in my basket as well. Expecting it to just be a low budget version of "Angel's share" or something.
First off, this fragrance really is nothing like anything else out there, it's weird; it's incredibly unusual and yet beautiful.
Opening: Plum and Tagetes coming together. The first sprays really smell like a 1980s women's fragrance without the signature "indolic / urine-like jasmine accord" that we are all used to. It's weird, soapy; but oddly beautiful.
Middle: As the questionable opening dries down, you are met with a very smooth, sweet smell of cloves, cinnamon and a chocolate/praline. It is very warm-spicy. It goes from odd to heavenly in an instant.
Drydown: This fragrance seemingly is made up of nearly only base notes and heavier molecules so after the opening fades, it is very linear. that beautiful warm spicy chocolate vibe never leaves but gets darker and more chocolate-like, and that's not a bad thing. It's very intoxicating.
In conclusion: If the opening wasn't so weird, this fragrance would damn near be iconic. It's criminal how creative/weird it is for the 30$ it usually retails for. Not blind buy safe at all. Be warned.
I will try rocking it to see if people like it or hate it. Drydown is heavenly. 9/10. I will deduct 1 point just because it smells weird when first sprayed.

A luxurious shaving foam with a supermarket price.
I was immediately drawn to the Nikos Sculpture line of fragrances after a reviewer drew my attention to the original Sculpture EDT.
I was interested because everyone said this fragrance was the inspiration for Amouage's "Reflection Man" and Gucci's "Guilty Elixir Pour Homme". Both of which are fragrances i absolutely adore and wear daily. This fragrance features notes from both, however with almost none of the sweetness.
I immediately pulled the trigger on this, and just received it earlier this morning.
First impressions?
Opening: It is incredibly fresh and citrusy, the opening is full of zest. Sharp even. I don't detect much if any sweetness with my bottle at all.
Middle: After the citruses slowly fade away, you are left with a very masculine white floral scent, which gets sweeter as time progresses. I smell mostly the Lavender/Jasmine coming together for that soapy vibe.
Drydown: I may have mentioned sweetness in the passage above, however; do not be mistaken. This is NOT a sweetness akin to the modern clones people claim it smells similar to. It is a minimal sweetness, Only to soften the quite macho citruses and aldehydes.
Longevity: this is really quite strong for a fresh fragrance, you will constantly catch whiffs of it throughout the day, mostly the mild sweetness and the shaving cream.
Overall? I love this fragrance, and i will wear it every day until the weather gets frosty. It's retro, but not dated. Just different. I hope women who are as young as i am will like it as much as i do :))

Ultra Male but in a Dior bottle, what were they thinking?
I really love the Dior Homme line of fragrances, i own a bottle of the original EDT and 2 bottles of Intense; so i went into this expecting to REALLY love it.
I also had even more reason to love it because they said it is absolutely nothing like the old one, which smelled like stale gym underwear and leather to my nose.
So the moment i saw it at a boutique, I knew i had to bathe in a cloud of this stuff. The excitement was real. Up until i bathed in a cloud of it. And that is when a variety of emotions overcame me.
So the day i encountered this charismatic bottle at a boutique finally arrived and at last; i fulfilled my plans of "bathing in it". Well? do i like it? I definitely like it more than the old underwear + iris accord of the 2014 fragrance. This is literally how Ultra Male smelled in 2015. With a microscopic touch of Iris.
From the first spray to the drydown, the similarities with an old batch of Ultra Male are uncanny. Starting with the very juicy synthetic pear, all the way to the camphoraceous and refreshing lavender & mint. Finishing off with more patchouli than vanilla. There is barely, if any Dior Homme here. The Iris is so subtle that most people could barely notice it was even there.
I love it because it's such a departure from the original which i find unrelentingly awful, but i also hate it because it's just Ultra Male + a microscopic trace of the pre-2020 Homme EDT in a Dior bottle.
Still wouldn't buy it tho, it's not powdery / chocolatey enough for me.

Medicinal, sweet; but not my cup of tea.
I've heard quite a fair share of good things regarding BR540. So i immediately went to my local niche store to spray some on my wrist.
I was expecting cotton candy but unfortunately all i got is this uncanny "iodine antiseptic + some sweetness" smell, which immediately warranted me to wash it off my wrist.
An unfortunate moment, indeed.
